Is it a place where everyone is happy?
No. It is a place where everyone feels themselves, where they take out and tend to their real emotions, where they don't have to pretend to be happy when they are not.
It is a place where everyone meets their real self, with flaws and regrets of their own. The not so perfect self. Where they can take a breath without a care. A breath of relief that they still are human and not a robot who is either happy or sad, who doesn't have the emotions in between.
Because everyone's define of happiness is not same. Not everyone can be happy in those green grasslands having pretty flowers underneath the warmly beautiful sky.
Just like not everyone's favourite colour is red or pink or any bright colour you can think of. There are people whose favourite colour is black or grey or any darker colours available. A favourite colour is what reminds you of yourself, your life, your emotions, your feelings, your struggles, your success, your failures, everything which could define you. A happy place is decided by their resemblance to us and not their beauty.
So, if every person is different, how their happy places can coincide?
Every place in this world is a happy place for someone either it be dark or bright, colourful or monotonous, noisy or silent, beautiful or not. So we should protect these places because they are precious to someone as much as the other one is to us.
So what's your happy place?
