"You coming Y/n,blondie?" Flynn asked while you and Rapunzel stood by the tower window.

"Hey, I promise it will be okay." You said patting her back before you climbed down the tower using your daggers and even making it down before Flynn did.

You looked up as you saw Rapunzel sliding down on her hair she clung to it tightly as she got close to the grass.

"Hey." You gently said and she looked at you as you smiled at her and held out your hand she gently took your hand before putting her feet in the grass one at a time laughing and looking at you smiling widely and her cheeks coated in a bright pink hue.

"Just smell the grass, the dirt just like I dreamed they'd be." She started singing as she let go of your hand and lying on the ground happily

As Flynn reached the bottom of the tower you both looked at each other as Rapunzel had the time of her life.

"She's crazy." Flynn stated

"She's just happy." You explained before you both walked over to the forest clearing where Rapunzel was sitting by a rock and crying after having a mixture of happiness and sadness and guilt.

You walked over to her "we can't help but notice you seem a little at war with yourself here." You said softly

"What?" She asked confused

"We're only picking up bits and pieces of course. Overprotective mother, forbidden road trip. I mean this is serious stuff. But let us ease your conscience. It's a part of growing." He said

"A little rebellion, a little adventure, that's good. Healthy, even." You smiled and Rapunzel wiped her tears and chuckled lightly

"You think?" She asked

"We know. You're way over-thinking this, trust us." You held out your hand and her cheeks went red and she took your hand and you pulled her to her feet. "Does your mother deserve it?no"You said

"Would this break her heart and crush her soul? Of course." Flynn said crossing his arms over his chest making you elbow him in the side

"But despite all that. You've got to do it." You tried to comfort her

"Break her heart..." rapunzel asked

"In half." Flynn said and you stomped on his foot

"Crush her soul?" She asked gripping her hair

"Like a grape." Flynn said and you gave him a blank stare before punching him in the face

"She would be heartbroken. You're right." Rapunzel said

Just before Flynn could say anything about backing out of the deal just so you and him could get the satchel back the sound of twigs snapping interrupted the three of you.

Rapunzel jumped onto you making you almost fall over.

"Is it ruffians? Thugs? Have they come for me?" Rapunzel asked scared

"Stay calm. It can probably smell fear." Flynn joked

"Oh..." panel hesitated before letting go of you ignoring the massive blush that spread across her cheeks "Sorry..guess I'm just a little bit jumpy."

"Probably be best if we avoid ruffians and thugs, though." You said

"Yeah, that would probably be best..." rapunzel agreed with a nervous chuckle

"Are you two hungry? Me and Y/n know a great place for lunch." Flynn suddenly spoke up

"Where?" Rapunzel asked

"Oh don't you worry. You'll know it when you smell it." Flynn stated

"Flynn. It better not be where I think it is." You warned him and he just gave you a toothy grin and you sighed.

"Y/n...is where we're going bad?" She asked

"Honestly, I don't know where Flynn is taking us but I don't think it will be. You ready to go?" You questioned and she nodded her head and climbed onto your arm as the two of you followed Flynn's lead.
