I am standing alone in the dining hall. I feel as if all the stares are piercing me from the outside in. The reason I am standing alone is because Hermione just bolted out of the dining hall with no explanation. I assume though that she was too shy for all of the horrified looks our "friends" are giving us now.
I suddenly lose my appetite because of all these looks and slowly leave the dining hall. Once I walk through the doors I start to fast-walk to the common room in hope to find Hermione. On my way there though, I run into professor Dumbledore. "Oh, hello Harry, just the man I was looking for. I saw all of that commotion in the dining hall with you and Hermione, care to say what's going on?" "Well you see professor, me and Hermione kinda got into little incident, and Ron spread it around the whole dining hall somehow, and I guess they think it's a huge deal," I tell the head master. "Okay Harry, thank you for that, I'll just be on my way. Oh and I hope your morning gets better Harry," says Dumbledore.
It kind of surprised me how professor Dumbledore responded when I told him what happened. I wasn't expecting for him to just leave it at "me and Hermione had an incident," what I expected was for him to carry on the conversation, at least by asking what that incident was. It's not like him to just leave a discussion open like that. My mind fills with thoughts about what it could be and what was maybe wrong with him, but I just end up coming to the conclusion that he was in a hurry and he didn't have time to talk much more to me.
By the time that that conclusion had come to my head though, I am already standing at the common room door, so I say the password, walk fast to the boys dorm, and walk to my four poster bed to hopefully get some sleep before I have to go to class.
