chapter 2- god... school...

POV Levi

I wake up and surprisingly I have an hour to get ready for school... I get ready in my usual black t-shirt and grey trouser and then go wake up my younger brother, bat, and twin brother, Luca, Luca first since I'm more likely to come out alive.

"Luca?"

I look into his room and surprise, surprise, he's still asleep... I use my earth powers to shake his bed, waking him up. instantly and he drops onto the floor and looks at me with a >:( on his face

"Why did you wake me up, Levi!!!"

he yells at me; can't believe I have to be related to this jerk.

"We have school, Idiot."

I roll my eyes and walk to bat's room... and it's empty... again. bat's left early again, oh well... hang on a minute... I agree to meet Alex before school. oh well.

later at school

"Geez Levi, I thought we agree to meet before school not as class is starting"

Alex rolls her eyes and is clearly annoyed. Alex Royal, one of the most popular girls in school because of her parents, I'll explain later. 

"Overslept again... and Luca's a pain in the ass to wake up"

I sheepishly admit as well as blaming Luca.

"Still trying to get the youngest Dreamer's name?"

she laughs and I make a annoy look at her.

"You aren't going to find it Levi, none of the teachers know or head users, there's no way it's going to be written down in a book."

she laughs, her hair swaying from side to side, I look at her blond hair, she bleached it again last night, I still don't get why she wants to be blond, brown hair is fine.

"You bleached your hair again. who are you trying to impress?"

I watch her face turn bright red in embarrassment.

"N-No one!"

she's far to defensive sometimes... well that's how she's been since she got a crush on someone, I'm still trying to work it out, I know it's not anyone younger than us, we're seniors so it's someone in our year level, it can't be me, I know that for a fact, she was quick to turn me down for even considering me for prom, she said she already planned to ask someone else. oh well I really don't care right now. I want to learn the name of the youngest Dreamer sibling, that's driving me nuts more than anything.

"A-anyway! did you hear the kids being picked to go on the quest are being picked soon? My parents are being sooo secretive about who they'll chose."

"Yeah, I know, it's crazy how serious this thing is taken.

every 30-35 years a group of kids aged 15-19 who show amazing talent in their own power get selected by the head users themselves to go some quest and destroy the heartstones, that are located all over Soul. My mother is the head Air user, she made sure to train Luca to be an excellent air user, there's no doubt he'll be picked, I, on the other hand don't have that luxury, my father is away for war, so I'm mostly self-taught. I see someone walk, no run past. 

"Oh look, the powerless freak is here."

Alex has a look of disgust on her, I don't blame her... Jaxx Unknown, the only person known not to have powers, he was the infant that Henry Emily saved when returning after Henry lost his sister, since he doesn't have powers, he's picked on a lot. I try and stay away from him because being near him could ruin my reputation. And to think I was friends with him? damn at six I was a damn fool. anyway, Jaxx is weird, he walks around with this ugly as mask that has a stupid smile on it, wears the hood up of his long sleeves, 24/7 like a weirdo. long pants, a big ass sword, like WTH man, I've never seen him use it but damn?! he also has a stick on him that turns to a bow, anyway as he walks past, I watch a few kids throw paper, rocks, anything handful size at Jaxx, i just shrug and walk away with Alex.
