I was sitting in the locker room where I work. All the girls were getting ready to go. The strip club was about to close. I worked at this strip club since I was 16. I mean damn I needed my own money. My moms was all ways to high off drugs to notice I was broke down and had beat up cloths. My brother turned to the streets and I turned to stripping. My dad of course was never around. His broke ass. A year after working there I was 17 and met this player named Jay. He came in every Saturday to see my little bitty itty frame slide down the silver pole. We started seeing each other. We had a lot of sex. One day I took a pregnacy test and it was positive. Once I told him he said it wasn't his. He don't even care about his son. Jeremiah Noah Dylan is my pride and joy. I wake every morning glad. He is three now. He's to cute and smart. He's a spitting image of his father. Jeremiah is carmel skin, light brown eyes, dimples, light brown curly hair, and my baby is all ways fresh. Even for daycare. I go to school during the day and pay for it at night. I'm in school to be a nurse. This shit is hard. Keeping up with a three year old, school, and the strip club. Between all that I don't get time for myself. Other then hanging with my best friend Kathy. I don't get to date. But my son is the only man for me. Now at the age of 21 I got my own shit. I have a Mercades Benz truck, a condo in a nice neigborhood, the dopest cloths, and money. I don't need no man for shit.
I grabbed my purse and walked out.
"Hey girl I heard you made some good money tonight". This girl named Ginger said.
"I hope so. I'll see you Tuesday". I said and walked away. I was to tired to chit chat it up with this girl. I kept walking. I noticed the D.J. was playing my favorite song "Did You Wrong". by Pleasure P.
"Girl I now this yo favortie song, come dance with me". The D.J. was my friend from back in the day his name was Blaine but everybody called him B. He walked over to me.
"Can I have this dance?" He asked.
"I would love to but I have to pick Jeremiah up from my grandma's. But thanks". I said walking away.
"One day girl". He yelled as my back was stilled turned. I needed sleep I thought as I got in my truck to go pick my little man up at 3:00am.
