Happy Reading!!!
Kavya inserted the key in the keyhole, turned it and she opened the door of her apartment. Both entered inside and darkness welcomed them. Kavya was about to move to switch on the light when two strong arms wrapped around her waist stopped her.
"Vihaan..."
She breathes his name heavily, feeling his chest pressed against her back. Her breath stopped when he pulled her closer to him. Her shivering hands touched his arms which were around her.
"HAPPY FIRST MONTH ANNIVERSARY DEAR WIFEY."
Vihaan whispered and the light got on when he left her moving in front of her. Kavya roamed her eyes and saw that it was beautifully decorated with flowers and golden light. Vihaan's eyes were observing her every expression, calming his nervousness.
Kavya turned to him and gave him a flat smile, making his heart crushed. Her eyes didn't shine the way he expected, her lips didn't turn into the beautiful smile the way he expected. Her expression was not the way he expected.
"You didn't like it?"
He asked, picking his broken pieces of heart. Hearing his question Kavya shook her head and said while avoiding eye contact with him.
"No. It's really beautiful and thank you so much for doing this but there was no need for it."
"But it's our first wedding anniversary."
He replied back with a low voice, but he only knew that his heart was screaming at the thought that she didn't like it. He tried his best to do everything but now he thinks that he has lacked something.
"I think we should pack my things and leave."
Saying this she left while he stood there looking at the decoration. He secretly took the keys of her apartment and asked Ishaan to decorate it but everything has spoiled now. He planned to spend some time with her, try to know her more, bake cake with her and sing a song together.
But, everything is spoiled now.
"Vihaan come and help me."
Hearing Kavya shout brought him back to the earth. Looking around for the last time he went to her and saw her jumping, trying to get the suitcase which was kept high on the cupboard.
"Move aside. Let me do it. Height dekhi hai apni."
He mocked her, making her look at him with narrowed eyes. He was about to touch the suitcase when she came in between, pushing him away while poking her index finger on his chest.
"Don't you dare to make fun of my height."
She warned him, making him raise his eyebrows. He was under the impression that this little girl in front of him was giving him a warning. He took slow steps in her direction making her back touch the cupboard.
He was close. Very much close.
"Don't you dare to scare me with your eyes."
She said but her nervousness can be felt in her trembling voice. Vihaan brought his finger, pushing the hair away from her face which was blocking his view. He knowingly moved his face closer to her, making her pressed more into the cupboard.
Hearing a sudden sound made her open her eyes. She saw him picking up the suitcase and then moving aside, giving her space to breathe. Both worked together and packed everything in the bag.
It took almost an hour for them to pack everything.
"Thank you so much for helping."
"No need to thank me."
