6 days before school started
6:40 A.M

I woke up to my phone ringing, I answered it without looking at the name

"Hello?"

I spoke in a raspy and sleepy voice
"Kat, are you still sleeping? Well, you better wake the fuck up... I totally forgot to call you last night, but something happened between Oliver and Shiloh.."

The person talked in a loud voice, instantly making me flinch, but I recognized the voice it was Rory, as soon as I heard Oliver and Shiloh, my mind woke up.

"Wait what happened?" I asked curiously
" so basically me and Everley and Miles, we're at the mall and we went into Bath and Bodyworks, and as we walked in, who do we see making out?"

"No, Rory, I cannot believe it"
I was shocked I was flabbergasted, to say the least, and for my own best friend, not to tell me, she does this...

" then bitch when I confronted her about it, and said, what about Austin, because I know for a fact that she hasn't broken up with Austin yet.."

" I mean, Shiloh kind of has like the right idea because Austin has been cheating on her for months, but you're right that isn't the way she should go about it" My voice had a hint of concern

" so like fast forward a few hours, my mom made dinner, and she told me to go get Oliver and Shiloh that they were in the backyard, and bitch they swear they're not dating, Shiloh was sitting on a chair while she played with his hair while his head was on her lap if that doesn't scream couple I don't know what does"

"WHAT-!" I covered my mouth as I remembered it was still early in the morning.

"Rory I'm gonna go pick you up and drop you off at school so we can talk about this more"

"Aw, thanks stink" Rory smiles

"Yeah, of course" I spoke tiredly

Rory ended the phone call, I washed my face brushed my hair, and grabbed my car keys and some sandals. As I walked to the front door, I saw Miles.

"What are you doing awake, school doesn't start until 8" I whisper to my brother, I scared him a little, causing him to jump back.

"Fuck, Kat you scared the shit out of me," He spoke out of breath

" that still doesn't answer my question why are you awake at 6:50 in the morning?" I raised my brow, as I questioned him.

" I was gonna go ask you if you could take me to Everley's house and I left my hoodie at her house" I started opening the front door,

" why'd you leave your hoodie at her house?"

"Because..."

" you skipped school didn't you?"

" no, I didn't"

" don't lie to me, Oliver already told me"  He rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Fine, I did now can you take me to her house?"
