Mountain Hotel

Honestly I have no idea where did I want to go so badly. I mean this is a hotel, there are mostly rooms. Maybe someone left their door open? Or a thief decided to rob a room during the day? No that probably won't happen. My brain had ideas tho because I started walking down the corridor. Soon,on the ground floor a double door opened and a man in a dirty apron stormed out. I supposed it was the kitchen area. I peaked in, it was seemingly empty so I sneaked in. A sweet but unpleasant smell was spreading in there it made me feel uncomfortable. I wanted to find the source of it when I heard footsteps. I looked around for a possible hiding spot but there was only one option. There was a small door, I ran to it and turned the knob. Luckily it was open so I rushed in and rapidly closed it behind me. The room became pitch black after closing it, I couldn't even see the tip of my nose.

-Dang it I should have brought a flashlight with me!-I muttered. That's when realization hit me. My phone is resting in my pocket! Faint yelling was heard but I couldn't make out what they were arguing about. I quietly took out my phone and I pressed the flashlight icon. The room was lighcolumn.n. This time I finally looked around. It was bigger than I expected, there were several doors and there were shelves with veggies on it.
It must be a pantry-I thought. In the middle, a metal table was standing with a large piece of meat on it. The meat was bloody, it looked fresh.

-Gosh that makes me sick..-I turned away from it and since I still had more time I decided to check out the other rooms too. The one on my left right next to me was locked, so was the second one. However the furthest one opened up. It led down on an iron staircase. It remided me of those basements in the horror games where the monster lures the protagonist. I bit my lip. I became honestly scared. It gave me adrenaline and made me feel excited. I summoned up all my courage and slowly walked down the stairs. I shivered, It's a lot colder then the one I came from. Wonder why.
It was definitely a storage room. Boxes, chests were laying around and bedsheets were organized in a column. A freezer was also put down here. That must be the source of the coldness.
I crouched down to it. It was shut down thight but I managed to open it. I didn't know what was I expecting,  I guess I really wanted to be  in those detective books. What I found inside took my breath away for a moment. Frozen parts were in it. Parts of a human body. I chrouched there frozen from the fear. Only seconds must have passed but for me it felt like hours.

-What the fuck?!-I snapped out of my paralyzed trance and backed away.
