Jisu had the hilarious(not actually) notion to tell Jae Heon about Yeonha's unfortunate crush on Eunhyuk. She had dropped the bombshell at the worst of times, Yeonha was high-strung, on edge, and lacking a peaceful sleep. What was supposed to be a welcomed respite after being involuntarily thrown out of a helicopter, climbing through a window, fighting off monsters and coming face to face with an unrequited crush; instead turned into the beginning of another battle, with Jisu taking the first attack.

Yeonha was both mortified and furious.

"Say it a little louder why don't you." She hissed out. "Let everyone else know while you're at it."

"Come on, there's nothing to be ashamed of Yeonha every kid has a crush, unless you still like him and that's why you're getting so worked up." Jisu grins.

Yeonha glared, threatening Jisu with her ice axe. Jisu waves her bat, raising an eyebrow and giving Yeonha a look that says I dare you.

Jae Heon puts himself between the two to placate them.

"Perhaps, we should calm ourselves to avoid causing a scene that will get everyone's attention."

He was right. The woman with the Pomeranian dog was already glancing in their direction, leaning forward with her ears turned facing them only just, an obvious eavesdropper trying to find any sort of gossip to amuse herself with. As she caught sight of Yeonha's ferocious scowl she turned her head away, finding sudden interest in the poster pasted on the wall to her right.

Yeonha blew hot air through her nostrils. She knew Jae Heon was right. If she and Jisu did start fighting, her secrets would not be spared and everyone would surely find out the truth.

Funny though that this was her biggest concern at the moment when they were in some sort of monster apocalypse and she was fighting turning into one herself.

She nods and folds her arm over her chest, after hooking the ice axe back to her belt. It didn't matter that Jae Heon knew anyway, he wasn't the type of person to go around gossiping.

"Not another word to anyone, or I really will hit you next time."

"Fine." Jisu rolls her eyes. "Whatever, you're no fun."

Yeonha walks away, needing the space to cool down.

She follows the sound of a sudden commotion to the doors in front of the stairwell, where the gangster, Hyun and Hyuk have gathered.

Yeonha had not seen much of the gangster and for good reason. He was the kind of person who had the tenants feeling as uneasy as if they were sharing a room with a monster.

He was dangerous, and he knew it, used it to his advantage, and wore it as armour against people and monsters because they were one and the same. He had fought monsters before this, the look in his eye and the jagged burn scar scattered across his cheek told the story, only the difference in that story was that the monsters he had fought before wore human skin and human smiles.

He had fought monsters and was still standing.

Yeonha was equally as afraid of him as she was impressed.

'I would not want to get on the wrong side of someone like that', Yeonha thinks to herself. Eunhyuk seemed to share the same sentiment as she heard him say, "Open it, let him through."

The gangster shoves at the stacks of furniture that had been built into a barricade, tearing it down and pushing the heavy steel doors of the stairwell open, he steps through and then Hyun steps forward to follow.

Wait, why were they going up? What had she missed?

"Hey wait!" She frowns and shouts hurriedly to Hyun before he follows the gangster through the door. Her hand lands lightly on his shoulder as she throws him a puzzled look. He better have not been kicked out by the Tenants. "Where are you going?"
