Wise words spoken by Einstein held truth for both Jason and Noah. Tomorrow was just a few hours away and a few minutes away from midnight but both of them were currently laying in bed dissociating to their happy marriage with each other, a loving home and three kids.
Currently it was 10 o'clock and Jason wasn't able to sleep. He was currently laying on his bed wide eyed staring at the ceiling, unmoving. If he was wearing an Apple watch, it would say something along the lines of 'Abnormal heart rate detected' but he didn't own one. In simple words, he had better taste.
After a while of thinking, he decided to text Noah again while laying on his bed, his phone being the only illuminating object in his room.
"Its okay" he said to himself aloud,"It's okay". And with fast movements he sent the text, pressing on the send button like he was pressing the red button which could destroy the world. The message was simple, modest and direct.
'Where should we meet tomorrow and at what time?'
Very soon the reply came,'Do you know cafe 'Coffee' at Gummy bear street, let's meet there! Would it be possible to meet at 4?"
If one didn't know that they are texting through a dating app, everybody would think they are signing some sort of buisness contract. Context is important.
Their awkwardness didn't faze both of them. And so Jason replied with an 'ok and see you tomorrow'. All the while his heart beat was like a trumpet being played in his chest.
After confirming tomorrow's plans, he slept like a dead body. It wouldn't be fair to say that he slept like a baby because babies wake up at the most random of times and wake up crying, hungry and begging for scraps.
So, Jason slept like a dead body.
On the other side of the phone, Noah was jumping on his bed while squealing. "He texted me! He texted me! HE TEXTED ME!", The reader can imagine his voice as that of a quirky teenage girl that is presented on Disney channel's and movies, for this very specific moment.
After a while of jumping around like a little rabbit, he finally takes a deep breath, he doesn't take a deep breath per say, he chokes on air because of all the loud squealing he just did.
He falls on his bed, eyes closed deeply with a faint smile playing on his lips and a hand on his heart in a way to stabilize it.
"If we ever get to the last stage of dating that is procreating, I want him to choke me with his large hands as he rams into me."
And he said this with an innocent expression on his face.
