Chapter 1

Y/n POV

Holy shit, today my twin children will be born. Me and Alycia's family are here to see their grandchildren/niece and nephew. Me and Alycia had been friends since we were babies since her parents are my parents best friends and we started dating when we were 13. I was in the delivery room holding Alycia's hand as she squeezed it very hard that I think she might've broken it. "Alright, sweetie. We're almost there just a few more pushes and then the first baby will come out. Alycia nodded and she screamed and pushes out our daughter who cried loudly. I cut her umbilical cord before the nurse took her to clean her up while Alycia began pushing for our son now. It took two minutes until he finally came into the world crying just like his sister. I also cut his umbilical cord and the nurse took him to get him clean.

Alycia was sweaty as she leaned into me. "What are their names?" The nurse asked us. "The girl is Lauren L/n." Alycia said. "And the boy is Lucas L/n." I said. "Those are lovely names for them." The nurse said as she wrote down their names on their birth certificate. Another nurse each handed us the twins. "I'll let your family know they would come in." The nurse told us before leaving the room. "They are so adorable." I cooed as I held Lucas is my arms. They both are the perfect mixture between me and Alycia combined. Alycia smiled at me before we kissed each other softly. The door opened and I see her mother walking in with the rest in tow. "There is my grand babies." Her mother said as Alycia handed Lauren to her. I see my brothers and sister come in with balloons and a few gifts for their niece and nephew.

I handed Lucas to my mom as my brothers and sister surrounded him and Lauren. "What's their names?" My dad asks me. "Lucas and Lauren L/n." I told him. "Perfect name for these two." My mom said. Alycia had to rest after giving birth as both of our parents left to finish the nursery room for the twins while our siblings stayed. I set down Lucas in his crib next to Lauren as they both slept peacefully.

3 days later

I made sure I packed everything for the twins to come home from the hospital while Alycia is getting dressed to finally come home after 3 days after the birth of our twins. My mom is taking us home to an apartment that my parents got for us. My dad is the CEO of Adidas while my mom owns a restaurant so my family is kinda rich but I'm not spoiled, I work part time at my mom's restaurant after school. I got the twins buckled up into their car seat while my older brother Jr helps Alycia into the car. After everything is settled I stayed in the back as my brother went to his car and drove away from the hospital. It took 20 minutes to get to our new apartment.

My mom brung the twins inside the apartment and into their nursery as I grabbed the bags for them as Alycia went into the apartment. After everything was good I said bye to my mom as she left with my brother.

I just got off of shift at my moms restaurant when I see Alycia pacing but stopped when she heard me come in. "What's wrong, babe?" I asked her as she looked at me sadly. "I have to leave for Hollywood." Alycia told me which made me smile softly. "That's huge, Alycia. But why are you so sad though?" I asked her. "Because we need to break up." Alycia said making my heart break. "What? Why? We could deal with long distance." I asked her. "Because I can't have any distractions. You and our kids are a distraction to me. So I need to leave you three." Alycia told me.

I looked at her angry. "So you're gonna leave me alone with two kids to raise while your out to Hollywood! Our kids need their mother, Alycia. I can't do this alone." I argued to her. "You'll have your family. But my flight leaves today." Alycia told me. "So you waited until the last second to tell me this? So you can leave your family behind? Leaving two kids grow up without their mother?!" I asked incredulously. Alycia didn't say anything but just grabbed her bags before leaving out the front door and closing it behind her, leaving me alone with our kids. I hear two feet patter to me and I see it's my kids. "Daddy! Your home!" Lauren and Lucas yelled excitedly.
