𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: in which the convoluted legend of two malicious lovers transcends even the test of time

𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: strong language, minimal angst, slight suggestive themes, chapter partially inspired by got/hotd, reader is a total baddie (as she should be), the chances of sukuna being OOC are high...he's much too complex for me

𝐕. 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 — personally, i couldn't be bothered to put up w/ this dude in a romantic setting. he'd piss me off too quickly lmao

𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐘 hearsay. All of it was just trivial hearsay. The tales of a beautiful sorceress graced with flowing platinum locks and twinkling amethyst irises were being tarnished by that fucking blindfold-wearing bastard who was—during his childhood—made to believe that he was the most powerful user of cursed energy alive. Being subjected to these lies could easily be classified as auditory torture.

Not long after Gojo nonchalantly recounted the ancient legends regarding [Y/N] [Y/L/N], a once powerful figure, and in the process utterly butchered the details—defaming the woman and her motives on purpose, the one rightfully dubbed "King of Curses" felt fury fester within the soul he now shared with a hyperactive and often airheaded first-year sorcerer.

Still, even after all was said and done—after the group of first years and their teacher were heading to the secluded location where they needed to exorcise a few curses, Sukuna still felt that lingering anger because of how [Y/N], the love of his life—his admirable wife who was now long gone had been regarded in conversation. Worst of all, Gojo's students practically ate up the stories and remained clinging to every word, fueling their hatred for the platinum-haired sorceress who had existed more than a millennium before their time:

"So, you all wanna hear the things I know about [Y/N], huh?"

Gojo's question spurred on relentless nodding from Nobara and Yuji, while Megumi remained completely stoic with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. The man showed off his amusement with a breathy chuckle as he racked his brain for all the information he could recall about the female sorcerer who gave children the most vivid nightmares.

"Hmm, well, when I was a kid, my relatives told me that [Y/L/N]-san would kidnap me in the dead of night and drink my blood if I didn't behave. But I guess she had better things to do."

Gojo admitted briskly. After all, there was not much to say. [Y/N] [Y/LN] essentially took on the role of a morose mythical figure who killed unruly children. Still, the legends were inspired by reality.

"...Then she's just an urban legend meant to scare dumb little kids, right?"

Nobara questioned as she crossed her arms over her chest—visibly upset about not getting to hear a cooler story. Her teacher began waving his finger in the air, hoping to interrupt her, but the girl refused to pay any attention. Instead, Megumi chimed in with his own viewpoint:
