As the minutes passed, Liarra's heart continue to beat up with emotion when her dragon, Mearax, flew above the King's Landing. Her winged shadow being able to be seen and admired by those who raised their eyes to see her. Above the sky the winds were strong and tearing and Liarra could feel their rough touches on her own skin as Mearax's wings defied them. But that didn't scare her. Those moments spent riding on the dragon's back gave Liarra a sense of freedom.

Mearax let out a small growl as her sister's dragon sped past them. Syrax was a massive and agile female dragon. Rhaenyra used to say that in a very short time it will be as big as their uncle's dragon. Liarra couldn't doubt her words. Besides Mearax, Syrax was huge anyway.

As they landed with the dragons, several dragon keepers approached them.

"For a first flight, you did really well, sister." Rhaenyra told her encouragingly. "Did you like being above the clouds?"

"It was wonderful. For a moment I thought I was one with the sky." Liarra said while getting off Mearax. The excitement in her voice could easily be seen in both her look and smile. "Let's fly again tomorrow with the dragons! "

Rhaenyra smiled to her little sister.

Ser Harrold was waiting for them mounted on his horse wearing his armor and the white cape of the king's guard. When he saw the two princesses with both feet on the ground, he sighed with relief.

"Welcome back, princesses. I hope you two had a good trip."

"Try not to look to relief, sir." Rhaenyra spoke in a playful tone.

"I am relief every time those beasts brings you two back unspoiled. Saves my head from a spike."

Liarra smiled amused as her sister pulled her in the direction of a carriage. Alicent Hightower was waiting for them. Her curly auburn hair lay beautifully on her back while a graceful smile appeared on her face at the sight of the two princesses.

"Syrax is growing quickly just soon be as large as Caraxes." she addressed to Rhaenyra, ignoring Liarra's presence.

"That's almost large enough to settle two." the older sister responded.

"I believe I'm quite content as a spectator. Thank you."

Alicent grabbed her dress and entered the carriage. Liarra also wanted to proud with her dragon. Mearax had grown quite a lot in the recent years. His wings had become more bigger and his flames stronger. If he had been left free, Mearax could have easily faced challenges from outside the Dragon Pit.

But the girl didn't seem that interested in hearing about him.

Entering in the carriage, Liarra sat down by the window, leaving her older sister and her friend to sit together and talk. Even if Rhaenyra and Alicent had been sisters, they wouldn't have understood each other as well as they did at that moment as friends.
