Hello everyone! NaughtyCat9 is me and NaughtyCat9 is now posting the first bit of this story! This is just the first chapter, told from Jiji's perspective. If I was Jiji, I would also freak out if I woke up to my best friend being a cat. Haha! Poor Jiji-kun, don't be to hard on poor Kiki-chan. Anyways, with all of that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this story. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.

Jiji wasn't sure if he was seeing things when he had first woken up early that morning, but he definitely wasn't expecting to see a black cat sleeping right where Kiki should have been. Out of pure panic and anxiety, he let out a loud meow, and the other cat sprang to her paws with a hiss, her claws unsheathing and her fur bristling.
"Jiji! What in StarClan's name was that for?!" A female voice screeched, the yell sounding very familiar to Jiji.
The small cat blinked and stared up into the female cats green eyes, witch were blazing with fury, and a bit of fear at his sudden yowl of fear and panic.
Jiji blinked and stared with suspicion at the other cat. "Wait one second, how do you know my name?" Were the first words to leave his mouth, once the shock and adrenaline had left his system.
"Ugh! By the stars above, are you really that Mouse-brained? What do you think, Jiji? Use your head." The cat meowed, a bit of sass, snark and annoyance was lacing her tone.
"Uhh... How Am I suppose to know the answer?" Jiji deadpanned, rolling his eyes and flicking his tail back and forth. The cat only sighed and dug her paws into the dirt with a frustrated hiss.
Jiji just continued to stare at the strange cat as she curled her tail over her back paws and narrowed her eyes in concentration. "I'll give you one clue, but THAT'S it! You hear me, Jiji?" She snapped, and Jiji nodded his head and the other cat sighed and took a deep breath.
"I introduce you to my customers as my best friend," The black she-cat meowed, a confident smile forming on her face as she grinned cheekily at Jiji, who's eyes went wide at the realization.
"K-Kiki?" He splutters, jumping backwards and staring with disbelief at his best friend, who is now a cat, and a female one at that. She only laughs and grins even wider at him.
"Bingo." The cat meowed, her tail swishing back and forth as she licked her paw. Jiji stared at her with a strange look on his face. This cat is really Kiki? But-But how? I don't understand this at all.
"And Jiji? My name's Hollypaw, not Kiki." The cat replied, after she had finished grooming herself clean. Jiji blinked and tilted his head in confusion at the strange name.
"Hollypaw? Who name's their cat Hollypaw?" Jiji asked, and Hollypaw's fur bristled and her ears went flat on her head.
"I'm a ThunderClan cat, I'm six moons old. And to answer you're question, my mother named me, I used to be Hollykit." Hollypaw meowed, her tone sounding a bit hostile and defensive.
"What's ThunderClan?" Jiji asked, and Hollypaw hissed in frustration and dug her paws into the dirt with a frustrated sigh.
"StarClan, please help me!" Hollypaw muttered under her breath as she stared up at the clear blue sky, Jiji blinked in confusion. 'The sky isn't going to respond, and who or what is this StarClan?' He wondered to himself, as the small cat began to pace around in circles.
"I'm the only daughter of ThunderClan's medicine cat, Leafpool. My brothers are Jaypaw and Lionpaw. I was scent here as a kit to fulfill the destiny that StarClan had planned for me." Hollypaw explained, her tail thrashing back and forth as she continued pacing around.
"Wait, wait, wait, what's going on? I'm confused, what's ThunderClan? What's StarClan? And what's with the strange names?" Jiji asked, firing off questions at the young she-cat, who paused and stared at him with a disbelieving look on her face.
"I don't have time to explain all of that to you, I need to get home and find out what in the name of StarClan I'm supposed to do." Hollypaw snapped, narrowing her eyes and staring up at the sky with something that Jiji couldn't identify.
"Wait, Hollypaw. Can I help you?" Jiji asked, and the young cat shook her head. Jiji opened his mouth to protest, but Hollypaw spoke up before jiji could even say a word.
"I'm sorry, Jiji. But you can't, I have to do this on my own. Stay here, Jiji. I'll be fine, I'm a ThunderClan apprentice after all." Hollypaw meowed, smiling confidently as she looked up at Jiji with determination shining in her emerald green eyes.
"Kiki, wait. How are you going to get home as a cat?" Jiji asked, and Hollypaw's eyes widened as big as saucers and she cursed under her breath.
"Fox Dung! I'm so dead, my parents are going to flip if they find out about this!" Hollypaw yowled, her tail thrashing from side to side, and her ears flattening against her head, as she began to pace around in circles once again. She was also muttering things under her breath and glancing around wildly as if she was expecting someone to jump out of the window.
Jiji watched with concerned eyes, as Hollypaw began muttering curses under her breath. Jiji couldn't make out what she was saying, but it was strange hearing his partner curse, Jiji had never in his life heard Hollypaw curse. After a few more minutes of pacing, Hollypaw stopped and raised her head to the sky, and yowled something that Jiji didn't fully understand.
