panic rushed through her body, 1995!? how did i get here? she thought. her mind went straight to the man from the music store. she turned all around, trying to find the same music store but it was nowhere to be seen. "ugh," she huffed. she watched as a boy, chased after two other people. she shrugged it off, walking around the unknown environment.

the sky shined bright, the sun glimmered brightly. people all around smiling, a true smile plastered on their faces. dan-bi felt a soft smile plaster on her face watching people happily live there lives. in 2023, dan-bi rarely saw pure happy moments like she sees all around her. something about seeing genuine smiles made her happy. she had never really experienced a true blissful moment throughout her 17 years of living. her world was a lot different then the world she was in now.

her eyes drifted down the her feet, her low-top converse hitting the side walk. the scar on her upper ankle was shown. she stared at it for a few moments, her thoughts taking over completely.

"come here you bitch!" the boy yelled.

"i-im sorry! it wont happen again." dan-bi cried to the boy.

"you were talking to another guy, you know the punishment for that."

"i needed to talk to him! he knows stuff about my family!" a pain crashed into her cheek. he had slapped her.

"does it look like i care!?" dan-bi watched as he grabbed a sharp object and stabbed up her ankle with it. piercing screams could be heard from her.

"thats what i thought you slut." he said, taking the object out of her ankle.

she cried, her heart was broken, shattered. the boy who was supposed to love her most, hurt her the most and he could never repay for the damage he did.

she felt the tears well up in her eyes, she quickly pulled up her sock covering the scar full of traumatic memories. she continued walking, feeling the tears on the verge of spilling. as she walked faster and faster, she felt her head crash into something.

"im so sorry! are you okay?" a boy asked, looking into her eyes.

"im fine." she quickly says, looking up at the boy. he had dark hair, and big doe eyes. he was gorgeous.

"still, im sorry." he tells her, she could see the pure worry in his eyes.

"don't be." she told him, starting to walk away. she felt a hand grab hers to hold her back.

"let me take you out to eat, as compensation." he smiled awkwardly.

"okay." she said.

"im eun-gyeol by the way.

"dan-bi."

"nice to meet you dan-bi."

"nice to meet you too eun-gyeol."
