I sighed as I walked back to the castle and frowned as I saw my mate sitting where I'd left her looking incredibly hurt and dejected. I sighed as I sat down across from her and waited to see if she would address me or if I'd gone to far and hurt her too badly. I blushed as she  looked up into my face and without saying a single English word, snarled out her hurt and sorrow in my native tongue. I whimpered, hung my head in shame, and whined I will tell you now  but you must understand it is difficult to talk about and even more difficult to understand. I sighed and shifted, so I was sitting beside her and said you weren't the first living being to have successfully stolen my heart. Lucy froze and said I wasn't? I blushed and shook my head and said no I had a family once a wife and six pups. When I was brought under the control of the  White  Witch I was  ordered to  hunt down and kill the members of my pack who refused to surrender to the witch. I sighed and looked down and said, "When I came home to my mate and our pups, they were furious that I would sell out and betray Aslan and when they refused to join me I was honor bound to  end their defiance and though it broke me and destroyed my heart I was forced to obey and  kill them all. I'm still to this day haunted by the screams of pain and betrayal. The look of  fear and betrayal in each of their faces. I sighed as I looked up and saw  Lucy  looking shell shocked and absolutely revolted. I sighed and said I deeply regret my actions on that day and have sworn of allowing Myself to become that manipulated, and I  will never again sink my teeth In anything but the food provided me. Lucy swallowed placed a hand on my shoulder and said  Maugrim nothing can change the past but I  swear to you we won't ever make you do anything like that again.
