A Gentle Reminder

Chapter 31

April 27, 2020

I stayed with Won until sunrise, I couldn't sleep, so I laid there, hugging him, thinking about a lot of things while he was asleep,

"Hey," he whispers as he looked up at me, I smiled and looked at him,

"Hi, I have to go in a bit, I can't leave Mia with Maya," I quietly said, he smiled and nodded, hugging me tight,

"You should have breakfast, come on," I said, sighing as I left the bed, pulling him up, I chuckled, his tall ass leaning towards me, I kissed his cheek as I pulled him out of the room,

Won sat at the table with Lyne and Sage, and dad, they ate breakfast as they talked about their next plan, Charlotte stood there, listening, trying to help,

"Can I talk to you?" I whispered at my mom, she smiled and nodded and left the kitchen,

"What's up?" She asked, I sighed and looked around, I didn't want anyone to hear,

"Maya's not my sister, tell me the truth," I quietly said, she was taken aback and shook her head,

"What are you talking about?" She said, holding my arm, I sighed and pulled her hand away, as their older sister, I'm trying my best to keep this family intact, if Maya keeps on hating us, then she can leave any time, and it will not keep our family together forever,

"Tell me the truth," I said, I was getting impatient, if she didn't tell me anything, I don't know what to do anymore,

"Fine, fine, she's not your sister, she's just Mia's half sister, okay? But she's still your sister, you're supposed to protect her even if you're not blood related," Mom said, I sighed and nodded, at least she told the truth.

"Yeah, these foods should be enough for us for three days," I said as I grabbed a bag full of foods, I sighed and nodded,

"We'll see you guys again soon, Lyne call us if you have another plan," I said, he nodded as he pulled me in for a hug as Charlotte followed and hugged him tight, I bit my bottom lip and hugged mom, dad and sage,

"Take care," I said as I pulled away from Sage, he smiled and nodded, patting my shoulder, I turned around to look at Won as I laughed, and hugged him, tight,

"I'll see you soon," I whispered as I gave him a kiss, he smiled as I pulled away from him, and out the door, waving goodbye as we entered the car and drove off.

April 30, 2020

Here we go again, Lyne and Won was in a call with us again, this time, Mia's the one who's going to give out instructions, Lyne and Won wore those earbuds thing,

"Okay, Listen, do not let anybody see you, there's a door down the stairs, second step, you know where it is," Mia says, we looked at the screen and saw Lyne and Won making a move,

Lyne pulled the trigger and made a loud bang, where the security's got distracted as Won made a move inside the door, quietly but quickly,

Lyne ran out to the back and grabbed a bomb and threw it somewhere as he hid near a trashcan, more security's came to investigate, he went inside the building,

While the I locked the doors using the security code, there were no security's inside the building, it was just Lyne, who opened the door to and ran towards Won, who signaled him to keep quiet,

"What do you want from me!" We heard a yell as a woman chuckled, Won signaled Lyne to go to the second floor, which they did one by one,

"Won, tie Lyne up with a rope and drop him where he can grab the two people beside her," Mia instructed, Won followed as he grabbed a rope and tied it in Lyne's waist, tying it in a barrier, Won's taller than Lyne so he can easily drop and grab him back up,

Won slowly dropped Lyne to a level where he can grab the two men in between the Trixian leader,

Lyne signaled Nari to not look and to not say anything, which Nari obeyed, Lyne silently pressed his hand in the man's mouth, keeping him quiet as Won grabbed him back up,

"Tie him up," Mia said, Won obeyed and tied the man's mouth, wrist and legs, the man was mumbling,

"god shut him up," Charlotte said annoyed, Lyne hummed and grabbed a knife, putting it against the man's neck,

"Keep your mouth shut if you want to live," Lyne whispers, threatening him as he nodded, of course he wouldn't do anything, we're not murderers, we don't kill,

Lyne grabbed the other one and threatened him as well, the threat was not serious, it was just a threat, they wouldn't do it,

"Leave the room and keep them hostage, ask them about her sister," Mia said, Won sighed and they grabbed the man as they quietly left the room,

Pushing the men in the floor as they put a gun up against their head, Won untied one of the men's mouth,

"Where is her sister?" Won said, the man stuttered and shook his head, Won sighed and placed a knife in the man's throat,

"Fine, fine! She's upstairs, the code is her birthday," He said, the other guy was no use at all, Lyne gave Won a nod as they left the men in the floor,

"the passcode is 091602," Mia said, I kept my mouth shut the whole way, 02? She's a bit young,

"Second room," Won whispered as Lyne opened the door, they looked around and saw a sleeping woman, Won grabbed some handcuffs and cuffed her hands and tied her legs, they placed some mask to cover her face,

"We got her," Lyne said, Mia sighed as I typed in my laptop, looking at the camera's, not a single guard was shown, they left,

"It's clear, leave, now, dad's in the front yard," Mia said, they dropped the woman in the car as dad drove off, Won and Lyne went to their car and followed dad,

"That was stupidly frustrating," I said, Mia laughed and shook her head, I grabbed my laptop and went to the cctv footage, deleting every single one that Lyne and Won was shown in,

"Everything will be fine," Charlotte said as she patted my back, stood up and left the living room, towards the pool.
