History: Ceres became the priestess of the Seven Archons before the Archon War 2,000 years ago. Her predecessor, the former priestess taught her to always pray whenever they visit the lands that the Archons has chosen to reside. Her predecessor always reminded Ceres the rules; a priestess must never interact with people outside of the temple, a priestess must never make friends, a priestess must never wander by themselves unless it's for gathering medicinal herbs, a priestess must never show any kind of emotions, a priestess must never under any circumstances ever fall in love. Ceres was taught all of that since she was young and followed the rules that were told to her by her predecessor.
Then, the Anemo God, Barbatos, visited Ceres one night when she and her predecessor were in Mondstadt for praying. Ceres was surprised to meet Barbatos himself, she was about to wake up her predecessor, but Barbatos stopped and placed his finger by his lips. He gently picked her up and flew out the window. He took her to a hill that had amazing view of the city of Mondstadt. Barbatos asked Ceres one simple question "What is it that you want most?" Ceres looked very confused at his question, then Barbatos chuckled at her lack of reaction and patted her head. After their short adventure, Barbatos took Ceres back to the inn where she and her predecessor are staying, he asked her to promise not to tell anyone about their meeting. Ceres nodded because she knew she can't disobey a God's word.
Ever since her meeting with Barbatos, Ceres started think about the question that Barbatos asked her, she started to think what she wanted most. Then she thought what she wanted most. Friends, explore the land, express emotions, fall in love. She wondered if she'll ever get to do all things.Over her travels with her predecessor, she met each of the Archons from the different lands. She wondered why the Archons are visiting only her and not her predecessor.
Then a few years later, Ceres grew up into a beautiful young lady and her predecessor passed on her title of priestess to her. Now it's her turn to pray to the Archons and pass on the knowledge to her successor, but she still dreams of doing the things that are the opposite of what she was taught. But she does show some expressions when she's alone, she also developed some hobbies, she loves to sing and dance. Then one of the devotees saw Ceres dancing one night, they believed her dancing is paying tribute to the Archons. So now her dancing is added to her duties as a Priestess
As she was preparing to leave the temple to pray, suddenly the Archon War started. She was shocked at what's happening, she immediately started protecting the people and took them somewhere safe from the battle. Ceres decided fight whoever caused the sudden war, as she grabs her spell book and sword, an assailant placed her into an eternal sleep
