On his way to his favorite coffeeshop , listening to the music he created within the silent and velvet conversations between him and his mind last night, he let the playful , golden morning breeze mess with his blond hairtips that where bobbing up and down, alongside the Beat of his footsteps .
It was a blissful Morning ,that he could finally enjoy, after a tiring and draining phase of exams to its fullest since his only classes for the day where set to take Place in the afternoon . It was almost too perfect, the empty street and calm traffic, the fresh air and clear blue sky and of course a cup filled with the liquor of heaven, a matcha caramel Latte macchiato that he was about to get for himself . He wanted to take a relaxing and peaceful walk alongside the river that flows directly through the City and take in the swift fragrance of the early blooming spring flowers.
Finally arriving at his destination in front of the door of the coffeeshop he felt himself getting excited for the euphoric taste he was about to experience and that would send shivers and chills of happiness down his spine, only to leave a comforting warmth that would carry him throughout the day as if he was walking on cotton . He stood a while in front of the entrance and just let everything pass him and flow by. Stuck in his thoughts he pondered about who would greet him this time behind the door of his personal heaven . Since he knew all the workers and and even befriended two of them , he was quite shocked after seeing a new face behind the counter once he entered and couldn't help but stop at the door and silently eye the new worker. It was a guy around his age, with a tall build ,golden, mesmerising locks and illuminating baby blue eyes. Now noticing the way he held up the growing line behind him, he quickly moved forward to order while internally cussing him self out for being so dense and awkward. None of the familiar workers where anywhere in sight and so he went to the new vendor, trying his best to calm down and not make it obvious that he was taken back by his presence and illuring appearance . He quickly ordered while avoiding the guy's eyes in front of him . But when he noticed that his name was written wrong he couldn't stop himself from impulsively moving closer and snatching the pen out the man's hand to correct the mistake. As a light fragrance of vanilla and berries hit his nose and vibrating sensations of the man's breath touched his reddening ears he slowly looked up,realising what he had done, finally looking into the workers eyes and getting lost in the mix of shades and tones of blue, freezing in his current state. As his eyes started tear from staring to long, he shot up, now resembling the colour of a beetroot and he stumbled a shaken and quick apology before turning in his heels and sitting as far as possible away from the counters hoping that he wouldn't attract more attention than he already does.
After a short while he was finally called up to the counter ,where one could pick up their order and he prayed on the way there that he didn't have to encounter the new guy . Speaking up for his bad luck that even his friends from college teased him about his prayers where not perceived and he had to face the guy again. It was very hard to muster up the courage needed to walk up to the counter and the faint chuckles and whispers of the other surrounding customers made it even harder. He felt very ashamed of what he had done and he knew that todays events would taunter his mind for a long time.
