Isabella 'Bella' Twist was never somebody worth remembering. From a very young age she had been told that she was scum of the earth and that she would never amount to anything worth while. The only good thing she had in her life was her younger brother :Oliver.

Oliver and Bella had always had a hard life, ever since they could form memories. And God knows the workhouse they were in did neither of them any good. Then their lives were changed, for better or for worse and all thanks to Jack Dawkins and his mentor Fagin.

After about a year of living on the streets of London, Bella was taken away from the only family she had left and trained to be something she never wanted to be. Oliver never told her what he did that day, The day Jack Dawkins had left her life.

Now Bella Twist was no longer, in her place stood Matilda Burrows, a lady in society and soon to be the Governors Daughter-in-law, except that was never what she wanted. There was nothing she wanted more than for her to go back to the way things were before.

Port Victory was not the place she ever thought she would run into her past, especially Dr Jack Dawkins.

The Years apart may have  changed the both of them but time apart has not changed their feelings for each other. He would die to protect her and she would kill to protect him. She would Paint the town red, if it meant he was safe.
