"This man is a crazy stalker. How am I going to get rid of him now? As he does with other women, he is probably playing with me".

She muttered looking ahead at nothing in particular when all of a sudden a thought broke into her mind.

"Is he..."

She blinked her eyes.

"Why haven't I thought of it before? I should have known."

When Chantal added all the strings together in her head, a realization hit her hard. She rose up, clenching her hands in wrath, knowing she had to be tough to handle her difficulties on her own and did not want to appear to be a helpless damsel.

She walked into the kitchen and ate the food her sister prepared for her. After that, she took medication for her fever that she had found in Evelyn's medicine cabinet.

Walking to the living room, as her gaze went to the luxurious packages of food, she sighed. She had a strong urge to toss all the food in the trash, but she refrained since she couldn't bear to waste it when there were so many people going hungry. Suddenly, an idea came to her, making her grin.

~Knock~

A middle-aged lady opened the door.

"Hi Amelia"

"Hello lovely, if it isn't Chantal, Eve's sister?"

"Yeah, we met a few days back."

"Of course, come in."

Chantal nodded, walking in, though all she wanted to do was take a nap; she couldn't, not before her work was done. Amelia was a single mom and their next-door neighbor. She was a kind lady.

"What would you like to have, lovely, Tea or coffee?"

"Thank you and sorry to bother you at this time but the other day, I saw you feeding the homeless people,"

Amelia nodded at her, motioning to Chantal with her eyes to continue.

"I actually wanted to do the same but I am sick."

"Are you alright?"

"It is just a mild, (achoo) fever. So I already ordered some food. Will you mind distributing the food to the homeless people down the street, Amelia?"

"I would love that. I was anyway about to go out to run some errands before I pick up my kids from school."

"Thank you so much, once again, sorry to bother you."

"Not at all"

Later, with a smile on her face, Chantal emerged from Tate's house carrying the food packages and placing them on the backseat of Amelia's car as she honked outside.

She crossed her hands across her chest and fixed her gaze on the rear of the car. She was pleased with her choice. In the meantime, Rayvonn's lips quirked up. He groaned and shook his head as he stared at his tablet. He did not like how she refused to accept what he had given her.

"She is as stubborn as you, Vonn."

Wesley who was sitting in front of him commented with a smirk of his own.

"I don't think a man who likes to control others will be able to handle a woman like her."

Now, these words of Wes seemed to gain Rayvonn's immediate attention as he removed his eyes from her and glared at his friend.

"You don't have to worry about it. It is not your business."

His rude words never managed to affect Wesley but he sighed and responded.
