I had to rewrite this chapter many times! Because I somehow kept messing up the storyline. So when I read the first draft it lacked a bit of spice. So-- I rewrote the whole thing just for you readers! You're welcome!
✨Enjoy the chapter,

| Victor |
| A NEW POV HAS ARRIVED! >:D |"Victor!"
Came my younger brother's voice from the upstairs balcony. I was still lingering outside, tending to the horses. Feeding apples to them and giving feed to the chickens. Looking up toward where my brother jumped down, if he were just a mere mortal. He would have gotten severely injured just by doing a dangerous act such as the one he pulled.
"Father wants us inside the palace after you're finished." He mentions to me. An agreement of a silent nod came from me. I was always a quiet and very observant child. Growing up without a mother was tough. So that made me want to protect my brother, and help my father take care of the kingdom and people that he was seemingly granted by grandfather, the certain being who I haven't seen in years since his sudden disappearance.
"Why are you tending to the animals when you know that's what our servants are for?" Jasper questioned me, raising an eyebrow.
Moments of silence pass, and I lead the horses back into the barn and covered them with blankets to keep them warm. Smiling briefly, petting my horse on the soft part of her snout. Her name was Snow. Her fur was white and her eyes were an icy blue. Very rare for a horse to have such magnificent features. Not many find the time to find such beauty.
"I just felt the need to do so. No one besides me tends to them. The maids have their hands full." I state, my breath coming out into the air like a mere cloud of steam. Surely, many know that even the dead can breathe air colder than anything no one has ever seen before. The dead carries their own unsounded heartbeat to their grave. While I manage to keep mine beating, although, truth, my heart makes a beat, but to mortality they wouldn't understand well enough to know how it works for vampires. Unless one or more read up on us immortals for that matter.
"Master Jasper, master Victor. Come. Your father wants both of you boys inside." Suave voices. Once Jasper and I enter the castle. The sun fully set up lowly in the morning sky, changing it into beautiful hues of red and orange.
Father knows that I am very capable of handling myself outside the walls of the palace. Yet, I understand he wants us to stay inside while the men of Asgore seek to find the only mortal that has been granted to become one day our next queen. Or king. Which ever Encre prefers. If he'll even take my father that is. His request of making the mortal his crowned- what was it that I was thinking about again? I asked in my mind.
Oh. Right. He wanted Encre to be protected by him. And maybe-- be his lover? I don't know.
| Fallacy |
Encre's bones were glowing with so many beautiful hues. I was curious as of to why he looked so panicked before he got to the door. But once it opened, I could not help but smile at the sight. "Pardon me, Encre. I don't mean to intrude on your morning art session."
"It's alright. It just ended." He says, moving away from the door. Waving his hand at me to enter. "Come in, Lord Fallacy. It's cold out in the hall."
