Ok, so it's almost past nine in the night. Dressed in a black turtleneck and a knee-length overcoat, I stand outside her three-story apartment. In my hands, I hold a bouquet of snowy lilies, their delicate beauty contrasting with the dark attire. The apartment's lights cast a glow, and the moment feels charged with anticipation. Taking a deep breath, I approach, the snow beneath my shoes adding a quiet soundtrack to this heartfelt gesture. Who would have thought that the world's most renowned, enigmatic, and relentless king of demons turns out to be a soft-hearted admirer of a mere 5-feet tall human. She possess a notably diminutive stature. But that human is the only living source for me. My life was a chaotic blend of dullness, shadows, and misery, filled with lifeless routines, until I met her.

I remember pleading with my mother to let me stay in the human realm for a few years. We moved next door to Lily's house. Though young, the moment my eyes met hers, certainty washed over me. She became my sole beacon of hope. I knew she was the only creature to grant me peace even if my destiny says otherwise. The only thing I ever feared was hurting her, to break something so delicate, so pure and so heavenly....

She is an ethereal angel graced with celestial beauty, danced in the realms of grace. Alas, I, a creature of shadows and whispers, a devil unable to conjure the heaven she so rightfully deserved. In the fantasy of love, our worlds could only touch but never intertwine, a cosmic dance forever bound by the distance between our celestial selves.

I was lost in my thoughts until she called out for me. " So...shall we go?", she says. The moment my eyes landed on her, I almost felt like my guts were tied in a knot. Oh dear, my heart was going to explode, the same heart I thought I never possessed. Her hair, a waterfall of chestnut silk, tumbled down to her waist, the perfect shade of brown. The perfect hue of brown, it framed a perpetually child-like face that resembled the first gentle ray of sunlight, casting its golden glow upon the world. Her skin, as delicate as the finest beige silk, and lips adorned in a shade of scarlet red softer than the petals of freshly bloomed roses, painted a portrait of ethereal beauty that could only exist in the realm of fairytales. She adorned herself in a stunning olive-coloured dress. Her aura was radiating all around the place. I gazed into her eyes, captivated by their depth, feeling like I could lose myself in them for all eternity. The beautiful hazel eyes I knew were now clouded with the dust of obsidian and emerald. Under the moonlight, she became a stunning masterpiece. "Do I look alright?", she asks. "You look... breathtaking, my love", I told her. "What?", she says with a crimson glow flushing her cheeks. I was sure that she had heard me and I knew she wanted me to repeat my words. Oh Dove, what are you doing to me?

I walk towards her and say, " Do you want me to whisper those words in your ear, baby?" She gave me a puzzled look but I know her better than anyone ever could. My innocent but mischievous little dove. " You're being all cute and sweet, it's making me want to kiss you", I tell her with a curled lip. She turned into the darkest shade of red and a sight I absolutely adore.

"I thought we could use a little adventure tonight. Ready for a surprise date under the stars?", I tell her.
