"Yeah, with Barb having a year without christmas is complicated."

"So what?" Barb appeared in the bedroom, shocking the two girls, "My whole life, I've spent the days hating christmas! I was rude, petty, selfish and cruel all the time!"

"Barb, what are you doing here?"

"In your house, Holly! I admit that is not good to be hateful on christmas! You were right all along and the talking toys!"

"Really? I thought that you hated christmas," Holly remarked, "I tried to convince you, girl."

Barb sat on Lisa's bed, "Christmas, christmas carols, Santa, all those things that I hated were so embarrassing, but, they were beautiful! A rubber doll told me that I haven't changed and I behaved badly," She explained.

"Wow, isn't that nice?" Holly smiled happily, "I guess that we have anything until the big day!"

"What's the big day?"

"The christmas eve!"

"Yeah, girl! The christmas eve!" Lisa replied.

"As a matter of fact, I was at home thinking what I must do until I found that christmas card that I found it on the floor," Barb pulled out the christmas card from nowhere.

"What does it mean? Did you changed your mind?"

"Barb Leander,

Your grandpa loved christmas so much. You don't have to dislike christmas because of Leisen's death on 1993. He was a part of your life, you used to build a snowman with him, having snowball fights, skating together, creating snow angels and decorating your house with him. Christmas means a lot to you, Barb, Christmas has love, passion and generosity. When Santa puts you on the nice list, you're out of the naughty list and be nice forever.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays."

"That's what Portia has put the christmas card for me," Barb continued.

"This is how your grandfather loved christmas!" said Lisa.

Holly squealed with excitement, "I feel a spark of cheerfulness coming on! Ha-ha! I'm not kidding, girls. But, we're gonna make this year a wonderful christmas!"

Later, on a friday morning, Lisa, Holly and the girls went to Maynard H. Jackson high school where they saw the countdown of the arrival of the christmas eve. They were amazed when they all went inside the school, "Girls, I'm glad that the christmas eve is coming december 24!" Holly told them.

"Dawg, sounds like that the christmas card worked perfectly!" said Portia.

"That was simply awesome and gangsta, Portia!" said Mallory.

"If I were Barb, I'm not gonna end up like her," Bailey claimed jokingly before seeing Barb coming out of the family car, "Oh, there she is!"

Barb walked towards the school, happy and content that she is about to enjoy christmas, "Hi, girls! Merry Christmas!" she greeted the cheerleaders as she kept walking with a smile in her face.

"What's the matter with Barb?" said Brittany.

"Wasn't she supposed to say merry happy whatever?" said Amber.

"Her personality looked different," said Linda.

"Girls, don't be mad at Barb, okay? She is no longer saying that horrible quote," Holly reassured them.

The girl placed a drawing of Santa, Frosty the snowman and Mrs. Claus on her locker as she proudly smiled. Then, Lisa and her friends approached her, "Hi, girls! What a lovely morning, right?"

"Yeah! We are on our last day of school, girl!" said Lisa.

"People are going to spend christmas with friends and family!"

"We're gonna spread the joy in the city of Atlanta!" said Maureen.

The girls laughed together before Clary showed up, wearing a Santa hat on her head. Seeing her friend wearing a hat, they felt initially surprised, "Clary! Are you wearing a Santa hat?" said the brunette.

"Isn't that cool?" said Clary.

"That's so cool, girl! Ha! Look at you!" exclaimed Holly.

"Thanks, Holly."

"This is pretty great!" said Maureen.

"Nice santa hat, girl!" said Verena.

"My mom told me to wear it on christmas eve," Clary stated, "How many days have left? Eh?"

"Begins on ten days."

"Ah, I'm glad to eat that delicious turkey and those gingerbread cookies! Lisa, how is your mom doing?" said Barb.

"She is conducting the christmas choir in the Spelman College at morning," Lisa has put her hands on her jacket pockets.

Meanwhile, on the Spelman College, Emma was ready to conduct the christmas choir since the Spelman College could come to an end after days of school. She picked up a portrait of herself, Carl, Lisa and Holly and felt touched as she sighed when a teacher appeared, "Emma, the choir is waiting," He told her.

"Oh, sure, sure!" Emma nodded before staring at the portrait, "Let's celebrate christmas together, Lisa and Holly."

She went to the Sisters Chapel located on the college where the christmas choir, including LaToya, were ready to sing before christmas eve. Emma wore an orange dress since that she is the one conducting the music for the choir, "Okay, everyone, we're ready for it, allright?"

"Okay, Emma! I feel really nervous a bit," said LaToya.

"Don't worry, Emma. Be confident."

"I will."

She briefly brushed her hair, picked up a baton and flickered it when she started to conduct the christmas music that she taught LaToya to sing at home.
