ARADHYA'S POV

"Catch me if you can you idiot" I yelled while running away from my younger brother after I ate his chocolates earlier he has been ready to kill me

"Di you better stop or once I catch you I swear I'm gonna tickle the heck out of you" he yelled back at me but before he could catch me I ran to papa (dad) and hid behind him "papa dekho na ye mere pichhe hi ped gaya hai" I said while planting for air to fill my lungs after running around the entire house past 20 minutes

Translation
"Dad look he is not leaving my back"

"Dhruv beta (child) stop troubling your sister and concentrate more on your studies" dad scolded him while pulling his ear "ahhh papa di was the one who ate my chocolates and started running around the entire house and now acting all innocent" he said while hissing in pain and glaring in my direction I just showed him my tongue mocking him and at the same time my older brother showed up

"Papa let him go he is innocent this witch is the one who provoked him" my older brother said while glaring at me as if I have stole his wife from him
"Aarav stop calling your sister a witch and even if she ate your chocolate dhruv beta it does not mean that you'll run behind her to kill her" my dad said leaving his ear and scolding him again, "papa she's the one-" he couldn't complete his sentence as my mom yelled

"You guys better stop your daily drama and be present in the dining room under 5 minutes am I clear?" We all yelled back a "yesssss' and quickly ran in to the dining room to take our seats before my mom comes and kicks our ass's
I was having breakfast peacefully until my mom came up with the topic which ruined my appetite "so aradhya beta what do you think about marriage?, look I know your not comfortable with these kind of conversations but your old enough to settle down so what do you think?" She said in an excited tone "mom I've already told you I'm not ready for marriage I want to marry someone I love" I said while getting up from the chair and was about to head to my room until I heard my dad say "You better sit down young lady and finish your breakfast am I clear?" He spoke in a stern tone which he rarly uses on me
"Got it dad" I said sitting on the chair again and digging in"

I was about to go to my office that's when I heard my dad saying something standing behind me "They are from a good family and the guy is my friend's son itself and they will keep you happy beta" papa said while caressing my hair gently while I could see the hopefulness in his eyes for me to say yes and my papa has never asked anything from me I felt so helpless at that moment while looking in his eyes, now it's my turn to make him happy by atleast saying yes for meeting the family, I looked in his hopeful eyes and said "thik hai papa agar aisa ap chahatein hai toh meri Haan hai" i said while lowering my head and wearing my slippers in a hurry and saying bye to my dad and running out of the house.

Translation
"Ok dad if that's what you want, it's a yes from my side"
