In the aftermath of Loki's devastating attack on New York, Rhea Vanderleur found herself ensnared in the wreckage of her own life.

Her first fiancé, a union born out of her father's business machinations, had met his demise in the chaos. Though devoid of genuine affection for the man, at least his handsome face offered some semblance of aesthetic comfort. And at least when she was wed she would be able to leave her parental house well and alone.

Now that her fiancé was gone, her parents moved back to the estate in Oxford. That was the one thing she was happy about. She had hated New York ever since the incident. Everything reminded her of the attack and what her life had now turned into. And above all she missed her friends in England.

Come to find out that coming back to the UK would greatly disappoint Rhea, as al her friends had seemingly moved on from their days at Oxford university. And so also from their friendship. Many were already married, some even had children, but every single one of them much too busy to go for drinks or even to accept her invitation for afternoon tea at the estate.

Now, fate dealt her another blow as her father introduced her to a new suitor, an older, corpulent, and visually unappealing man. The prospect of spending her days with someone so utterly incompatible plunged Rhea deeper into the abyss of despair. Her opulent surroundings, a facade of comfort, became a gilded cage.

Seeking solace and perhaps a fleeting escape, Rhea embarked on an exploration of the mansion's extensive wine cellar.

In the dimly lit, labyrinthine corridors, she stumbled upon a hidden passage, unveiling an ancient tome cloaked in mystery. Its pages whispered secrets in an enigmatic language that resonated with an otherworldly aura.

Compelled by a mix of curiosity and desperation to be entertained by anything , Rhea began reciting the cryptic verses from the book. The air in the cellar seemed to shimmer with an ethereal energy, and an otherworldly force coursed through her veins. As she uttered the final words, a surge of power enveloped her, and the world slipped away.

When Rhea regained consciousness, she found herself changed. The once feeble heiress now possessed a formidable ability – the power to control air. With a mere wave of her hands, she could generate a wave of air so strong that it could knock over 5 full grown men.

Empowered by this newfound gift, Rhea faced a pivotal choice. Would she succumb to the constraints of her predetermined life, or would she wield her extraordinary abilities to carve a path of her own? The mansion's halls echoed with possibilities, and Rhea, fueled by a newfound determination, contemplated the intricate dance of fate and free will that awaited her. The once passive observer was now a player in the grand theatre of her own destiny.

As Rhea grappled with her newfound abilities, a spark of determination ignited within her. The oppressive chains of her predetermined life began to loosen, and a daring thought took root in her mind — revenge against the architect of her misery,

Loki.
