It was my senior year of college. Kay and I had become closer than ever. I had just had a huge fight with my boyfriend Justin.
"Girl guess what!" Kay screamed.
"What" I asked annoyed.
"Get dressed because we got back stages passes to an August Alsina concert! My boyfriend is the best" she shouted jumping up and down.
Don't get me wrong, I loved August song "I luv this shit" but I wasn't in the mood to go.
"I'll pass" I said dryly.
"Bih Wym you'll pass this is August Alsina fine ass I'm talking about!" Kay said with an attitude.
"Girl I know, and he ain't even that famous why you doing all that, dude has one hit song" I said not looking up from my phone screen.
"See that's your problem, you're ungrateful and stuck on stupid! oops I mean Justin!" she teased.
"Whatever"
"Come on Rachii Anye! please please please, don't make me go alone! imma be too scared to turn up!" Kay whimpered.
"Girl please your boyfriend is his bodyguard you're the last to be scared"
"Rachii!"
"Ok ok I'll go, just to get my mind off Justin" I agreed.
"Turn upppppp!" Kay yelled.

It was 8:00 and Kay and I were getting dressed.
I went for a two piece dark green body con crop top and skirt with a gold body chain, gold pumps, sin colored M•A•C lipstick, gold eyeshadow with a winged tip, and a messy bun.
Kay had on khaki lace shorts a black bra and a royal blue fitted blazer with the matching wedges.
I must say, we looked bad but I still wasn't feeling it.
I grabbed my clutch and phone and waited on Kay to finish her makeup.
When she was done, we headed to the concert. When we made it there Ace, Kay's boyfriend, handed us the backstage passes and we walked in.
The concert was live! Kay was TURNT and so was the entire crowd. I was too busy going back and forth with Justin's dumb ass because he got caught cheating. I couldn't fully enjoy the show tho.
When August left the stage, Kay decided to go backstage as well. We made it back there and August was signing autographs, Kay jumped in line but I wasn't interested, still arguing via text message with dumb ass, I found a nice lil corner and continued texting instead.
Kay came running over to me smiling ear to ear.
"Wassup" I asked.
"Ace just asked me did we want to ride with them to the after party!" she squealed.
"Kayyyyy come on, I'm ready to go home" I whimpered.
"Really Rachii it's just 2 o'clock!" Kay yelled.
"Yeah 2 o'clock too late, just give me the keys and I'll drive home myself" I snapped.
Right when Kay was about to respond, August and Ace approached us.
"Y'all coming baby?" Ace asked.
Kay looked at me and mouthed please. I rolled my eyes and answered.
"Ok bruh, whatever!" I said walking off.
