The Mysterious Island

Hours later me and my siblings came across a gingerbread house covered in sweets. It even had candyfloss puthering out of the chimney. A bright light was shining through the curtains. It was obvious that someone lived here, but who? We walked around the building. There was one window without any curtains in it, next to a door. We looked through that window. Then the door suddenly opened. Out came an elderly woman holding a walking stick. She invited us in. Hesitantly, we ventured through her blindingly bright house. We then discovered another elderly woman. She was sat next to the fire on an elegantly patterned couch. When we walked into the room she was poshly sat in the corner, with a straight back, meanwhile slowly sipping at her tea. Then in the very edge of my peripheral vision I saw a broom. The old woman laughed whilst snortkng through her unusually large nose, which had a wort on the end of it. She had one little black cat which was almost invisible against her black dress. Also to add to her black collection she had a black pointy hat.

I whispered to Jorja, "she must be a witch!"

Then the woman said, "call me Tarina my dears." "would you like, a cake?" She then suspiciously questioned.

The woman at the door race to the table and happily danced around it shouting "yes, yes!" She then picked up a cake from the silver platerband to the biggest bite possible. She felt a sudden rip of pain through her chest. Her face, red, as she fell to the floor.

Jorja and Kyla raced behind me in horro.

"Ha ha ha!" Tarina laughed.

Then intold my sisters to distract Tarina meanwhile I crept behind her.

Tarina's head slowly turned around. But before she caught sight of me I pushed her into the blazing fire. Purring like a cat it said thank you for its meal.

Then stumbling over the dead door woman's body, me and my sibilings ran as fast as our legs could cary us, away from the witch's house. As far away as possible.
