The Last Generation's Rebellion

First day trauma

I was jumping up and down out of excitement as happy tears were falling down my cheek. OMG isang good news! Thank God talaga! Dali dali akong bumaba sa hagdan para sabihin ang good news sa parents ko. Nakita ko sila sa kitchen, they were talking while sipping coffee. I quickly jumped to them and niyakap sila. 

"Mommy! Daddy! Omgggg~ hehe guess what??" I was so happy na sobrang pabebe na yung voice ko, I'm not usually like this, BUT I'M SO HAPPY LANG TALAGA!

"You have a boyfriend already?" Mom
"Did you successfully cook something without burning it?" Dad

Natigilan ako sa kanila, really? I rolled my eyes jokingly at padabog na lumayo sa kanila. I crossed my arms like a child and stomped my foot.

"I was gonna say I passed the entrance exam in Wedmore Academy, and I want us to celebrate pero sige fine mag sama kayo hmp." 

My dad quickly pulled me and gave me a crushing hug, then my mom joined in and they gave me a lot of kisses on my cheek. Lumayo ako sa kanila and I quickly wiped my wet cheeks.

"Ewww, I'm not a kid anymore! Stop doing that." I looked at them both while still wiping their kisses away. 

"Kahit pa maging 30 ka na, you're still gonna be our one and only baby, our precious princess, hindi mo alam kung gaano kaimportante ka sa amin. And you passing the Wedmore entrance exam, oh we've expected it, mana ka sa'kin na matalino eh." My mom said while looking at my dad with a grin on her face. My dad just shrugged.

"We've prepared for this moment, dadating talaga ang panahon na lalayo ka sa amin, we want to be by your side at all times but we also want you to explore new things." I listened to my dad's words and I pouted.

"Bibisita naman ako during my long weekend breaks." I gave my dad a reassuring smile so he and mom won't worry much about me.  They both sighed and gave me a forced smile.

"We will help you pack your things at ihahatid ka na din namin, in the next two weeks are the beginning of your classes so you should be ready na." My mom said while tearing up a bit. I just nodded and quickly hugged them again, I said 'thank you' a lot of times for them letting me go, even if they were hesitant to.

Ganon ka bilis ang two weeks, it was like yesterday, when I was hugging my parents out of joy, now I'm hugging them out of sadness, I want them at my side too. We are standing outside of the lavish gate of Wedmore Academy, I'm tearing up while hugging them. 

"Mom, Dad, I'll be okay, I promise, please don't worry too much okay?" I said in a groggy voice, naiiyak na naman ako, I mean, of course, they're gonna be so far away from me. All my life, I was sheltered like a princess by my parents, they gave me everything I wanted. And now just thinking about na, ako nalang mag-isa na kailangan alagaan ang sarili ko, the thought scares me but at the same time it's thrilling.

"Of course, you'll be safe in there but we'll miss you so much, sweetie, we will call whenever we both have free time okay?" My mom said with tears in her eyes. I just nodded and wiped her tears away. 

"Yes po mommy, I need to go now, baka ma late ako sa first general assembly namin. Mom and Dad, I love you." I said and hugged them both, they gave me lots of kisses first before letting me go. I waved goodbye to my parents' car that is moving away. 

After wiping my tears away sumunod na ako sa dalawang babae na naka tayo at kanina pa nanunuod sa drama naming pamilya, they were wearing maid uniforms. They carried my luggage and led me inside the gate and into the majestic path of the academy of my dreams. The two ladies walked to a building called, Yunera's Hall. It was big and so luxurious, I went up to the fourth floor using the staircase kaya medyo ubos na yung hininga ko. The two ladies then set my things in my assigned room. Ako lang mag-isa sa room ko, it has a wardrobe, a study table, a comfort room, and a queen-sized bed. Humiga ako sa kama when I remembered something! Late na ako sa general assembly my goodness!

Dali dali akong nag bihis sa uniform namin at tumakbo na pababa, I'm gasping for air as I ran quickly, mabuti nalang talaga I familiarized the map, hindi na ako malilito- and now I'm lost. I don't know where am I. It's different talaga when you've seen it visually lang than actually experiencing it. I sighed, now what? I stopped in the middle of the hallway when suddenly a guy shoved me to the side and I almost screamed. I didn't hear any footsteps kaya parang lumundag ang kaluluwa ko. The guy was running in a hurry, he was wearing glasses and he was also wearing our uniform and he's so bad ha, he didn't even say sorry. Sinundan ko siya, kung saan man siya papunta, I know for sure na sa general assembly to-

I quickly stopped in my tracks when he was running towards an abandoned building, he ran towards the back of it. I gulped, I'm sure hindi general assembly ang nandito, I know that kailangan ko ng umalis. I was about to leave when I heard an agonizing scream from a man. My feet quickly ran towards the sound. Sumilip ako ng konti, and I gasped with what I saw. The man who shoved me earlier in the hallway is kneeling in front of four boys. They were wearing our uniforms too.

The boys were smoking cigarettes when suddenly the blonde one on the left kneeled on the same level as the glasses guy, he unbuttoned his uniform and pushed his burning cigarette onto the collarbone of the guy, he pulled out a small dagger and carved something on the guy's chest. Another scream echoed in the air and I yelped and quickly covered my mouth, h-how could they do that? Nakakaiyak, no naiiyak na naiihi na talaga ako dito, I'm scared and I want my parents. Sumilip ako and I looked at the four guys again when one of them was staring directly at my soul while puffing out his cigarette. His face was void of any emotion and our eyes met for 4 seconds before I looked away. Nanayo balahibo ko and I feel like I just got myself into something sinister.
