Location Lucifer's office -
"I'm sorry, Diavolo" Lucifer spoke with a frown on his face disappointed by his actions.
"I was so blinded by rage that I lost control of myself. If I'd hurt Y/n, then the entire exchange program would've ended in disaster".
Lucifer sighed and uttered again. "I'm grateful you showed up to stop me. Thank you".
Diavolo crossed his arms against his chest with no smile on his face.
"I would say it's luck that whatever Y/n injected in you wasn't strong enough to damage you only to have little damage done," Diavolo said to Lucifer with a heavy expression.
Lucifer only shifted his eyes to his shoulder knowing a minor scar was there from Y/n.
He recovered somewhat quickly afterwards but it was an agonizing experience either way.
"...Well, it was an understandable reaction on your part. As demons, everything that we are rides on that grimoire. If it had been stolen, that would have been a disaster as well"
Lucifer agreed with Diavolo but then paused thinking of Y/n before speaking up.
"If I may say. Isn't it dangerous for Y/n to hold stuff as poisonous valuables?" He informed Diavolo.
"You did attempt to attack her, Lucifer. I'll say it was in defense. We both understand she is a Demon Slayer"
He started again.
"However her holding onto dangerous possessions is against the rules of our district....threatening to other students" Diavolo shook his head talking once again.
"But I understand why she would be holding such threats against us as long as she utilizes them wisely," Diavolo said looking straight into Lucifer's eyes. Lucifer only raised a brow to his response.
"And why? If I may ask. Shouldn't we be taking care of those possessions she holds" Lucifer reacted with a baffled glance. Before Diavolo spoke.
"you said to Y/n something back there. "Do you think I'm going to allow a lowly human that choice? That you can have whatever it is you want? No...".
Lucifer glanced away at Diavolo's words as Diavolo continued.
"Your loyalty to me, your brother's freedom, their right to know what's going on...you place so much importance on all these things."
"So I wonder, who is it that REALLY isn't being given choices here? Who is it that's suffering from a lack of options...What do you think, Lucifer?" Diavolo finished observing Lucifer.
Lucifer merely stood in place with silence.
