Best Friends

Hit the road!!

-Jackson's POV-

"Well we're riding, so we're we riding to?" I asked getting impatient. I don't like to ride with someone else driving, unless I know we're we're going. I trust Hailey, but still.

"I don't know yet. We could either go to Huntsville, or we could go to the airport and fly to California!! I already got the tickets for Calli, so how's that sound? Just a vae-cae for me and you!!" She replied back.

"What are we waiting for then, Cal-I-forn-i-a here we come!!!!!" I screamed out the window.

"You're silly Jackson!!"

"I know."

The next 10 minuets were quiet. We still had 15 minuets till we got to the airport. It was already 12 am. I finally spoke up to break the silence.

"Hailey Bear, what part of Calli are we even going to?"

"L.A boo!" She replied back all excited. I don't listen to a lot of the bands she listens to, but Hailey listens to 'Pierce The Veil', 'All Time Low', 'Black Veil Brides', 'Panic! At The Disco' (her favorite), and others. They were coming to L.A to do their Warped Tour, Hailey has been wanting to go to. I bet this has something to do with that.

Just as I was thinking about all this "Better Off Dead" by Sleeping With Sirens come on, which meant she plugged her phone in, because we don't have a station that plays her bands. As she was singing along, I interrupted.

"Hailey, does us going to L.A have anything to do with the Warped Tour? I don't care to go, I'm just asking."

"It doesn't. I do have tickets for it, but it had nothing to do with us coming. If you don't want to go, you don't have to."

"I want to, I want to rock out with my bae!"

"Okay hun, are you gonna get out, we're at the airport!"

"Oh I didn't even realize!"

-a night later-
(Still Jackson POV)

We reached California earlier, we were going to sleep so we could get up in the morning. We were staying at a really nice hotel Hailey had booked for us, but I couldn't sleep. I couldn't quit thinking about how I hit it off with Hailey, and how good everything was.

I was up for two hours on their super fast wifi. I found this nice restaurant a few miles down the road. I was gonna ask Hailey on a date, take her there, and ask her to officially be my girlfriend.

-in the morning at 10 am-

It's our first day so we slept in. I went over to Hailey to wake her up.

"Hailey, wake up, I know your tired, but come on wake up boo." I said in a whisper like voice, but not completely whispering. "Haileeeyyyy wake up!!!" I yelled in a little kid voice.

"Just 5 more minutes mom!" She said.

"Hailey your 17, it's not your mom, it's me Jackson. We only have two more days in Calli, because we have to go home and go back to school. We can't sleep the whole time!"

"Oh yeah!!! I'm up!!" She said. She absolutely couldn't stand the thought of school during her days off.

After we got don't eating breakfast and watching some T.V, it was finally 12. Right when the hand stuck 12 I said "Hailey Bear, I need to ask you something."

"Yeah, boo?"

"Will you go on our first date with me tonight?"

"Yesssss!!!!!" She screamed with excitement, all the rooms around us probably heard her.
