Kateriina arrived to the paddock a bit late, she got distracted with a cat that was sat outside a restaurant, he was super friendly and it let her pet him but when she looked at her watch her heart nearly fell to her stomach, she was already 20 minuts late and she had yet to get changed and get her paddock passes, so she run, well or at least she tried, running wasn't her best ability
53 minuts late she arrived to the paddock, where minttu and her siblings were waiting and watching Kimi fly through the track. Out of breath she sat down at the alpha romeo's hospitality, next to Ace who looked very concentrated as he was trying to learn since he wanted to be a formula 1 driver in the future.
"Hello Ace, how's dad doing?" Kateriina asked out of breath from running all the way to the paddock
"he is doing alright, the car's not the best so he can't do a lot" Ace said a bit sad, he knew his father didn't mind but at the same time it frustrated everybody.
"don't worry it's just practice day, I'm sure that in the race he'll do way better" His sister said getting nears his ear "he's the best out there" winking at him, her siblings weren't as lucky as Kateriina, she actually experienced her father's prime which was amazing, one of the best days of her life was when he won the world champion, even if he didn't seem very happy that night ended in a huge party where all the team got drunk and for a 7 year old Kateriina it ended sleeping in the middle of two chairs with her father's jacket on top.

After the practice ended everyone went to their respective hotels, where kimi nearly threw himself into the shower, he was absolutely destroyed, he had finished 13th, not even close to his best results but it was the best he could with the sauber
right now the family was getting ready to go with sebastian and hannah to a really nice restaurant, kateriina was super excited it had been ages since the last time she saw hannah, she was like a mother to her and with all the thing happening in her life it was the best thing she could ask for
while her 2000's playlist was playing she danced around the room when suddenly rihanna entered with watery eyes
"can you help me kateriina?" rihanna said, some tears rolled down her cheeks and for what kateriina could see it was because of her makeup, rihanna had tried to do it herself and it ended really messy
"of course rakkaus (love)" kateriina said pointing at the table where she had her makeup, she planned on doing very simple things to her sister, just a bit of gold glittery shadows, some blush and gloss, she was still a kid and she had to enjoy this times because in 12 years she will miss it as kateriina was missing her childhood
"kiitos!! (thank you)" rihanna said junping from the chair and giving kateriina a big hug, she loved this moments with her sister
then kateriina kept singing and dancing while doing her make up and when she was all ready it was already time to leave but before she took some pictures
