Part 6

Taehyung was running, running as far as he could, as long as his legs could keep up. He didn't dare to look back. He was afraid. He was losing his breathe. Heart's racing that he could feel it while running.

It has only been 9 minutes since he fled from the port, fled from the love of of his life. As bad it sounds but yeah he pulled this stunt right under Jungkook's nose. Oh his body shivers with the thought of Jungkook catching him. He will for sure do worse.

Well truth to be told he doesn't even know if Jimin is alive or not. But he had a promise to fulfill. The promise which led to a bet. 

He stops, stops at nowhere. The dusk fell, so everything's around him is getting darker. All he could see is trees and trees. He thinks if he could run a bit, he could end up seeing any route.

So he ran, ran again for his life. He had to live. He had this ambition. Soon he could see faint lights. Probably the highway. He remembers this highway. It was his daily route while traveling to Jungkook's house back and forth to this daily job.

Yes, Jungkook's house was this far and well hidden. It was like at nowhere. Obviously it would because he is a freaking mafia. What do you expect? His house will be in the middle of the Seoul? Well jokes on you, but no. However, Jungkook had to travel to Seoul. Since he had a normal job just like Taehyung.

Basically, Taehyung was a nurse in Seoul's City Hospital. Quite surprising? But yes. He recently took a break. So the past few months he was only at Jungkook's house. Alone. Meaning he had a lot of free time in his hands and a very lonely heart without Jungkook.

And Jungkook? He surely had a more prestigious reputation. Which leads to one conclusion, he is a CEO. A prestigious person with such a tainted reputation in behind? Typical story but it is the truth. And the sacrifices mentioned in the first part of this story? They are the sacrifices that Jungkook made for Taehyung.

Flashbacks from 6 years ago

'All units stay alert. A gun fight broke out in the North Guanshi Port. Need backups immediately!' Radio's broke out to different police cars.

News stations got the hinge of the news from the port. ' A gun fight broke out in the North of Guanshi Port. Polices arrived immediately and the situation as it states- 6 to 7 men are found spot dead and rest 16 are injured. Two mafia groups were involved. It has been said both the leaders fled. One of the leaders is said to be badly injured. All nearby hospitals are advised to stay alert in case the criminals are to be alleged to take medical help.'

'Taehyung-shi?' Taehyung's trance was broken as soon as he was called out by a nurse. 'Oh yes?' he replied.

'This is nothing trust me. I don't why do they always show these. It has been like a daily thing.' the nurse said.

'Daily thing?' Taehyung asked. 'Oh right you are new here, I'm so sorry. It's just we are used to it don't worry. Come I'll show you to the doctor's chamber. Also I really appreciate you helping us out. It's not a everyday thing to have someone from the Seoul's City Hospital to help us out. Haha..' The nurse then took Taehyung to the doctor's chamber.

He had a small talk with the doctor when he advised to look around some cabins for a quick inspection. Although it was late but he didn't mind. As he was looking around the cabins, he suddenly came across to one of a cabin The door was opened with no lights, but taping sounds were heard. He was afraid to go inside but he did it anyway. He walked in and removed the curtains. He silently gasped when the male taping himself turned around. He quickly swinged his pocket knife at Taehyung, but he dodged it luckily.
