Part 8

Chaos. The whole place was chaotic. For obvious reasons, duh. It hasn't been long before Jungkook got the hinge of Taehyung running away. Oh lord save him tonight, because the way Jungkook's blood has been boiling.

'Si-'

'STFU AND LOOK FOR TAEHYUNG. FCKING BRING HIM TO ME RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!' Jungkook slammed his hands on the desk infront of him ordering his bodyguards. They all immediately took off in search of Taehyung.

However, Taehyung just got on the highway. It was quite a long way to Seoul's city life since he has to walk there. And at this hour, finding any transportation is near to impossible. He doesn't gives up as recalls the earlier events that took place.

45 minutes ago

Keys clinking.

Taehyung was scared. He got lost in his dilemna when faint screams were bringing him back from his trance.

'Taehyung-shi!! Taehyung-'

'W-wh.at..??' Taehyung broke into sweats.

'You need to run now! Everyone is currently unavailable right now. Please leave and go to Jimin sir-'

'J..jimin??!! Where is he??? Where-'

'Please calm down Taehyung-shi. That wasn't Jimin sir in the sack but rather some other goon's body. He is safe okay?? Just leave from here. Go to your uncle. Jimin sir is with him.' The male said.

'M..my uncle?? Why is he with-' Taehyung was a complete mess.

'It is no place to say it all here. Just go.' The male helped him get up from the floor and guided him till Taehyung could get out.

Current time

Taehyung was grateful. Grateful to Ricky. He don't know what would have happened if it wasn't for Ricky who came to help him. He always had a soft corner for Taehyung and treated him like a hyung. Pretty ironic since he is the right hand man but it is what it is.

Taehyung on the highway tried to stop some cars passing by, and each time the cars passed by him. His whole body became weak. He was on the verge of giving up when a truck stopped. A man in his early 30s pulled up.

'Yo, young man what you doing here alone at this hour? The man asked Taehyung.

'S..sir could you please drop me till the Seoul's city lights?' Taehyung asked.

'Yeah why not? I'm going here anyways. Hop in.' The man said.

With generosity shown by the man, Taehyung hopped in. It took them almost 20 to 30 minutes to reach downtown.

Upon seeing the lights Taehyung asked the man to halt the car.

'Please drop me here, I'll take another transportation from there.' But the kind man insisted to drop him close by to the place he wanted to go. Taehyung couldn't resisted and went along.

The car halted infront of a restaurant. Taehyung thanked the man and started to walked away before he recalled that he didn't get the kind man's name. But he let out a laugh when he noticed the number plate as the car was driven away.

It says- 'JIN 233657'

Weird who does that. Taehyung thought. Nevertheless he started to walk again. After a 5 minutes walk he reached to a building. He looked around and saw that no one was following him. He was glad that Jungkook couldn't reach him. But it's only a matter of time.

He walks into the building, got into an elevator and pressed 17th floor. The door closes and opens at 17th floor. There, bodyguards swarmed outside the door of a cabin. He was greeted by the bodyguards. The doors were opened for him and he entered.

'If this isn't my nephew. Welcome son. ' his uncle greeted him.

'Uncle..' Taehyung couldn't form the words.

'Oh no it's okay, Jimin told me everything. And don't worry he is fine. Also my nephew, congratulations. You have been doing your job with honesty. ' His uncle approached a bit closer to him and grabbing his arms. With sympathy look he says, 'Ofcourse it is all for your lost brother. Oh poor hobi..he didn't deserve that. I never liked that job from the first. A mere cop? Look what it did to him. I don't know why you brothers were persistent in working some mere jobs.'

'Uncle..please..' His uncle smiles, 'I know it has been hard for you as well as on Jimin too..after all they were dating, that too behind Jungkook's back. Huh. If only Jungkook knew Jimin, his childhood friend, was dating some cop while they were the biggest fish to catch for a cop-'

"Uncle you don't have to repeat the history over time to time.' Jimin came out from the other room and joined them. Taehyung's eyes were filled with tears as soon as he saw him.

'J..jimin..' he rushed immediately to Jimin and hugged him. 'Now now, stop shedding these stupidity tears, see I'm all fine.' Jimin assured him.

'Do you have any idea how worried I was for you? I thought jungko...kook has done something bad to you.' Taehyung got silent. Jimin cupped his face, 'I know baby, it must have startled you alot I'm sorry..'

'B..but what about the bet? How did he know?' Taehyung asked.

'Oh that moron. He caught me at a party, luckily I was saved thanks to uncle's strategy. But then he disappeared. The next thing I know that there were accommodations going on over there.' Jimin explained.

'So he knows?' Jimin nodded at the question. 'And he knows I have been betraying him-'
