Valentina sat in the dressing room after the interview. As she reached for her phone, she noticed several missed calls from Cate and Andre, making her head spin.
She quickly dialed Andre's number, but there was no answer. She then tried Cate's number, but she too didn't pick up.
Valentina felt a sense of dread in her stomach, wondering why both Cate and Andre were trying to reach her. She took a deep breath and decided to go to Cate's dorm, hoping to find some answers.
She sent a text to Cate saying that she was heading to the dorm.
She stepped out of the dressing room, she walked across the campus.
As she was on her way, Valentina received a text from Cate saying that it was alright and that they could talk another day. Valentina was confused and a little concerned, but she felt there wasn't any urgency to get to the dorms, she stopped by the convince store and get some snacks before heading to her dorm.
As Valentina rounded the corner of the dorm building, she noticed a tall figure leaning against the wall. It was Jordan, they were ranting and raving about something, their hands flying around wildly as they spoke.
Valentina slowly approached, unsure of what to expect. Jordan's voice was getting louder and seemed more and more worked up as Valentina got closer.
"It should've been me, not Marie!" Jordan yelled, his face red with anger.
"Jordan, what the hell are you doing."
"Ahh, the guardian of godolkin, come to save me." Jordan taunts as he stumbles up.
"You know your partner is really annoying, with her We're super right?"
"You're getting worked up for nothing. You'll get your chance" Valentina said, trying to calm Jordan down.
"This was my chance. We fought together, we fought Luke. She ran." They muttered.
"Why'd you ask Marie?" Valentina asked, a question she had pondered since she heard Marie rehearse her lines.
"You know. Plus would you have actually said it."
"I don't actually know. You did screw me over big time."
"It's all my fault." Jordan muttered.
Valentina sighed.
"It's not Jordan. I was being a bitch about it. If anything I blame Brink."
"No. It's my fault." Jordan continued to mutter as tears began to form.
"Okay, you are way to high, lets get you to your dorm." Valentina said, taking the blunt away from them, putting her arm around Jordan's shoulders and guided them back to their dorm.
Once there, she helped them into their bed and tucked them in.
"You haven't been this nice to me in so long." Jordan mumbled as they laid in bed.
