Saudade

Chapter four

Luckily the Bakugo squad didn't decide to follow me. But i was late for class.
So when i walked in all eyes turned to me.
"You're late" aizawa said
"Sorry sensei i had an emergency." I said sitting down.
He just nodded and carried on with class.
I began coughing again, drawing all the attention to me. But only ururaka had depressed face.

"May i be excused?" I asked even tho i was still coughing

Aizawa nodded and i quickly left the room.

But when i was alone in the cubicle  and coughing petals , i was suffocating. I put my hand in my throat trying to pull the whole rose out.

When i was done i could feel air coming in to my lungs again.

I took inhaled fresh oxygen again.

A knock came at my cubicle door

"Katsumi? Are you alright?" I could hear ururaka say.

"Y-yeah " i said after wiping my mouth and flushing the toilet.

I came out and was immediately engulfed by a hug.

"I'm sorry katsumi. I hate that you have to go through this."

I could feel tears stinging my eyes and i couldn't hold it any longer. I began to sob.

This went in for awhile while ururaka rubbed my back.

"Lets get you to the nurse. Maybe theres something she could help with." Ururaka said

I nodded "okay"

We made our way to the nurse who was busy looking through a file.

She turned to us with a smile.

"How can i help you young ladies today?" She asked.

I looked to ururaka who gave an encouraging smile.

I sighed

"I have hanahaki" i said

The nurses eyes widened before she got serious.

"How long?"

"Since junior high" i said looking down

"Is it just petals or more?"

"I started coughing up roses this moring. " i said

She sighed sadly.

"Do you want the surgery?" She asked

I shook my head.

"I don't want to loose all my memories of him" i said sadly

She nodded

"Well i can give you some medicine but that won't stop the inevitable. " she said sadly

I nodded "i know"

This caused ururaka to burst into tears.

I gave her a hug trying to comfort her.

"Its okay , i already accepted my fate." I whispered.

"Well there is still one thing you can do..." the nurse said.

I perked up.

"What can i do ?" I said with determination. All though i have little hope.

"Try to make him fall in love you ..." the nurse said grimly.

I inhaled sharply .

"H-how would i do that?" I said scared

"I'll help you" ururaka said wiping her tears.

"No matter what. You are gonna live." She said with determination.

I smiled at her and gave her another hug.

"Thank you " i whispered.

It was the end of the day. Ururaka said she had a plan and lead me to the dorms.

We walked into her room. Inside was midoriya and kirishima.

I looked at ururaka.

"Do they know?" I asked

"Yes. I thought since they know bakugo best they could help."

Kirishima look determined but still gloomy. And izuku had a sad smile.

"You'll get through this and we'll be right by your side." Kirishima said giving my shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

"Thanks guys" i said. Tearing up a bit.

For years i've been going through this alone and now i finally had some people who knew my situation. Who could stand beside me.

"So whats the plan?" I asked wiping away my tears.

It's been a few days and my situation only seemed to be getting worse but kirishima told me not to worry that they'll come up with something. 

It was now lunch i was going to head to my usual table when i heard my name being called.

"Katsumi! Come sit with us!" Kirishima said waving me over. 

I turned to look at Izuku and Ochako and they gave me a thumbs up. I took a deep breath before walking to Kirishima's table with a smile.

"Hey E-ejirou" I said stuttering a bit. 

Kirishima said i should call him by his first name because it would annoy bakugo. I don't see how that could help the situation but i did it anyways. 

Bakugo flinched and i could see his hand tighten around his chopsticks. I guess the plan was working. 

I sat down across from bakugo and as soon as I did Kaminari put his arm around my shoulder. 

"Hey Katsu ! You should come sit with us more often." He said giving me a wink. 

I looked at kirishima who was giving me a shrug. Guess he told kaminari to flirt with me. 

"Haha sure Kami" I said nervously but still going along with the plan. 

I looked over at Bakugo who was fuming, almost like he was back  to his old self. 

" say why don't we go do some karoake tonight ?" Kaminari said giving me a dashing smile. 

"Thats a great idea Denki!" Mina said clearly not seeing that kaminari only meant me and him.

"What do you think Bakubro?" Kirishima said trying to get him to come. 

"Like hell I'm gonna go sing" He said.  

"Well thats okay, I guess Katsumi and I can still go. Give us some alone time." Kaminari said with a wink. 

Bakugo stood up grabbing Kaminari by the collar. He was about to say something when he saw the look of shock on my face. He slowly let go and sat down. 

"On second thought... I'll join you guys..." He said stealing a glance at me. 

"Great! we'll go at four o'clock" Mina said with a devilish smile. 

I gulped, already feeling the petals in my throat. 

"Alright." i said with a smile before i slowly ate my food. 

Later~

It was almost four now and i was looking in my closet for an outfit. 

"Ugh! All of these will make me look bigger than i already am!" I said sighing and sitting on my bed. 

"No thats not true, I'm sure I can find something." She said looking through my closet. 

"Wait I have an idea." she said before she ran out of my room. 

It took a while but once she was done she came back with an outfit in hand. 

"What about this?" She asked. 

"Its perfect"
