(Fades to King Koopa's Fortress.)
(Inside the fortress, Dr. Robotnik, Scratch and Grounder enter King Koopa's throne room.)
Grounder: Your supremeness, where are we?
Dr. Robotnik: (whispering) *shushing* Be quiet, you idiot! (to Scratch) And you too!
(A silhouette shaped like King Koopa snaps his fingers as a gang of Mechakoopas come in. Dr. Robotnik and his badniks stare in shock.)
Silhouette (King Koopa): (evil laugh)
Scratch: What was that?!
Grounder: Beats me, Scratch.
Dr. Robotnik: Who are you?
(King Koopa comes out of the dark.)
King Koopa: It is I, King Koopa! The most evilest, scariest and rottonest of them all!
Dr. Robotnik: What? YOU?! No you're not! I am!
King Koopa: Says who?!
Dr. Robotnik: Dr. Ivo Robotnik, that's who!
King Koopa: (laughs) I like your spunk, Doctor!
Dr. Robotnik: Oh, really? And I like your tone.
King Koopa: You look like you can be my new partner in crime!
Dr. Robotnik: Partner, huh? I like that. Alright, I'm in!
King Koopa: You're hired! What do you say we take the plumbers down?
Dr. Robotnik: Yes! And Sonic and his friends too!
King Koopa: Never heard of them.
Dr. Robotnik: Sonic the blue speedy hedgehog, his little two-tailed friend, Tails, and the rest of their friends, are my arch-enemies!
King Koopa: I also have my arch-enemies too! Mario, the plumber dressed in red, Luigi, his brother dressed in green, Toadstool, princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Yoshi, the green dino-twerp pet of the Mario brothers, and the rest of the cavepeople!
(Dr. Robotnik and King Koopa shake their hands as they laugh evilly, along with Scratch and Grounder.)
[Scene: Dome City]

(Fade transition)
(The two professors, Caninestein and Von Schlemmer are building the Alternate Universe Portal.)
Mario: Any sign of Koopa yet, lil' brother?
Luigi: No, not yet, Mario.
Toadstool: Well, the professors should be done building the portal by now.
Sonic: We're waiiiitiiiiiiiiiing!
(The two professors finished building the portal.)
Caninestein: All done! This portal will take us back home in no time!
Von Schlemmer: Ja, and the bad news is, uh, we don't know what happens when we go into it.
Sonic: What?! This is an Alternate Universe Portal! Our home is inside it!
Von Schlemmer: But we have a big problem! (talks to a caveman) Uh, can you pass me the rock?
(The caveman gives Von Schlemmer a rock.)
Von Schlemmer: Allow me to demonstrate! (throws a rock)
(Cuts to a rock inside the portal turning 2D to CGI.)
(Cuts to Von Schlemmer.)
Von Schlemmer: It teleports us to a three-dimensional world!
Sonic: Three-dimensional, huh?
(Sonic walks to an Alternate Universe Portal and puts his arm to it.)
(Cuts to Sonic's arm turning to a CGI animation.)
(Cuts to Sonic grabbing his arm out of the portal as the arm turns back to 2D.)
Sonic: So that's what happens. Well, we better know what's inside this portal.
Caninestein: Not yet, Sonic! There's an even bigger problem! Not only it teleports us to a three-dimensional world, but the portal is sending out other universes from around the world!
(Inspector Gadget comes out of the portal.)
Gadget: Wowzers! This is some sort of strange universe!
Sonic: I don't know this guy at all!
Gadget: Oh, you're right. Sorry! (leaves)
(Fred Flintstone from The Flintstones comes out of the portal.)
Fred: Oops, wrong world. (leaves)
(Homer Simpson from The Simpsons comes out of the portal.)
Homer: D'oh! Wrong TV show!
Bart: (comes out of the portal) Cool, man!
Homer: (angry) Bart!!
Bart: (leaves) Whoa!
Homer: (leaves) GRRRR!!!
(Ren and Stimpy come out of the portal.)
Stimpy: Uh, where are we?
Ren: You eediot! You sent us to the wrong universe! (slaps Stimpy several times)
Sonic: All right! That's enough! (pushes Ren and Stimpy out to the portal) These are some very strange universes.
Caninestein: They are.
(Coconuts' maniacal laugh is heard off-screen. The Mario brothers, Sonic, Tails and the rest of the gang hear what is making that noise.)
Mario: What's that noise?
Sonic: I guess that must be that robotic baboon, Coconoise!
(The ghost of Coconuts comes out.)
The Ghost of Coconuts: That's Coconuts! COCONUTS!!!
(Sonic, his friends, Mario, and the rest, except Coconuts, gasp.)
Tails: Coconuts is alive?! (to Coconuts) What happened to you?!
The Ghost of Coconuts: I'll tell you what happened to me! It happened yesterday...
