Clint: Before it all went to shit earth was filled to the brim with superheroes ranging from mutants, time travelers, aliens, gods, inter dimensional beings, immortals, and the under aged. I was the latter in a team called the young avengers yeah I know how original, well clearly more original then running around with a name like "teen team". Honestly the first time I heard their name I thought it was team team
He chuckled slightly at the memory but soon it transformed into sobs as he was on the verge of a panic attack. Catching himself clint breathed deeply managing to calm down and continue
Clint: Sorry about that now where was I, ah yes the team. It was compromised by fifteen members, yours truly the otaku leader in full ninja regalia, the von doom twins wiccan and speed, stature daughter of the second ant-man, our resident rich girl hawkeye, the changeling hulkling, the president daughter patriot, the grandaughter of ultron viv vision, the daughter of the sun hyper girl, the future ms barton shadowcat, the heir of asgard throne torunn, the atomic beauty atom eve, the very much vincible invincible, the wall crawling spider-girl, little miss dracula baroness blood, mutant prodigy prestige, shilling fire equinox, blast from another dimension marvel girl, time lord without a tardis tempus, and gravity novice graviton. Together we were the young avengers earth's youngest heroes, technically that title belongs to the power pack seeing as how their most powerful member still uses pull ups but I digress. The day everything went to shit we were at our newly acquired headquarters avengers mansion. Stark had moved his boy band to the newly named avengers tower and with maggie's father being the president bought it for us. So we were celebrating our latest victory
Night had settled upon the city of new york as the full moon shined above the sky meanwhile at a building known as avengers mansion, a pizza delivery guy left more giddy than a child holding a photo as if his life depended on it, meanwhile on the roof a group of fifteen teenagers sat around a table as they all grabbed a slice of pizza raising it to the air as clint took center stage
Clint: What did the young avengers do?
Everyone: Kicked a space cockroach ass into the 40th millennium!
Clint: And how did he react?
Everyone: Kicking and screaming like a little bitch!!
They all laughed and began eating pizzas and enjoying the night all except Izumi who despite enjoying the party couldn't help but side glances over at clint. Ever since they were kids izumi has been in love with clint but was reluctant to confess her feelings in fear of being rejected now here he was with kitty sitting on his lap when it should be her. Granted having a 7'1" girl with enough muscle to rival zarya sitting on the lap of a 5'4" boy was ridiculous in of itself but still that didn't take away the fact it should be her and not kitty. As the party went on everyone talked about their favourite highlights of the battle
Invincible: Oh man the way his jaw crunched as we punched him
Torunn: Aye, he stood no chance against our combined might
While mark and torunn had a laugh clint inspected his girlfriend's bandaged left forearm were annihalus had left the imprint of his hand and in relation when clint had strip the space bug of his cosmic rod
Clint: Are you sure you're okay
Kitty: I'm fine, you worry to much
A gush of wind interrupted their conversation as tommy sat resting his elbow over clint's shoulder with a smirk
Tommy: Awwww look at the SMALL love birds 😘...
Tommy couldn't continue teasing as the air became heavy looking around he saw Izumi smiling at him but it was fake as behind the smile was a promise of a fate worse than death even clair's spider-sense caught on as she was searching for the source of the danger. One thing everyone learned very early on is to never make fun of clint's height otherwise you'd have to deal with a VERY pissed off eternal who can punch hulk back into bruce banner. Seeing the error of his ways tommy rushed back to his sister side as Izumi lessened her gaze as the couple resumed their talk
Kitty: You know if I'd wanted someone to worry so much I would've called my mom
Clint: I'll stop worrying when you start being more careful
Before they could continue a loud boom echoed throughout the sky followed by an earthquake, once it passed clint activated a computer on the table and began searching for answers
Claire: The hell was that?
Clint: It would seem something or with our luck someone has crashed into times square. Gear up everyone we're leaving
Tommy: What about the pizza party
Clint: Later. For all we know annihilus is back for the cosmic control rod
Tommy: Fine
With a wave of her hands whitney teleported the group to times square. When they arrived none could believe what they saw
