"What drugs are you giving Nathaniel this time?" Mara yelled
"You're not allowed to shout at me" Willow said her voice firm and commanding. She crossed her legs and leaned back in her chair, her posture radiating cool composure
"Are you planning to kill my son completely?"
"Yes, I can do whatever I want,"
Mara's lips curled into a cold smile. "For now But just you wait I promise that Nathaniel will remember everything you did to him You can be his Ari but to me you're nothing but a cheap conniving woman"
"How dare you! I have done nothing wrong I have been nothing but kind and caring to your son. You have no right to speak to me like that"
"Caring??? You are killing him."
"That's enough You think you have the right to just say whatever you want, but you don't I get dangerous when I'm angry."
"And I see red when I'm angry" Mara said, turning on her heel and stalking out of the room
"Argh!" Willow her fists clenched at her sides

I stood in front of the wall my gaze fixed on a photograph of Nathaniel. I was lost in thought, oblivious my surroundings. Eve walked up to me and cleared her throat.
"Hey there," she said, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"Hey, cutie," I said, tearing my gaze away from the photograph and turning to face Eve
"I can tell that you have feelings for my dad,"
"Is it that obvious?"
"Of course it is, It's written all over your face."
"Oh, I didn't mean to come between your dad and your mom It just crush ."
Eve smiled "Every nanny we've ever had has had a crush on my dad,"
"Mine's different I've known your dad for the past five years, and I've only met him once But it's strange that he doesn't remember me"
"You didn't know that my dad has memory loss, did you?" Eve asked
"Memory loss? What happened?"
"It's a long story All the nannies that tried to help him ended up missing or dead"
My heart skipped a beat. "That's terrifying Do you think it's related to his memory loss?"
"I don't know, And I'm not here to tell you that Because Asher doesn't like you that it why he asked me to tell you this because he knows that you will want to help my dad"
"Of course I will,Your dad needs help"
"You better not,It's not safe You could end up like the other nannies."
"I don't care,"
Eve's eyes"You don't understand,My mom is very dangerous. If she finds out you're helping my dad, she'll hurt you. You don't know what she's capable of."
I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I'm not afraid of your mom, I'm not going to let her stop me from doing this"
"Wow, do you want to get yourself killed? I don't want you to die Please, it's not worth the risk And please, don't call him 'Mr. Stranger.' Every time you do, it's like something clicks in his mind. I don't know what it is, but I'm worried it might cause him more harm than good I don't want you to get hurt, and I don't want my dad to get hurt either"
"But why? If he can remember, maybe he'll be okay. Maybe he'll be like his old self again"
"You don't understand" Eve said, turning back to face me "If he remembers, it could be dangerous for him And if my mom finds out that you're the one who helped him it could be dangerous for you too She's not a nice person, and I don't want anything bad to happen to you Please just back off." With that she turned and walked away leaving me alone with my conflicted feelings.............
