"Mum Are you keeping something from me?"
"Why do you ask?" Mara said
"I just... I feel like there's something missing Like there's something you're not telling me"
"There's nothing missing, my dearI promise you everything is as it should be"
"I need to see a doctor"
"Why? What's going on?"
"Every time I take the medication that willow gave meI feel... off Something doesn't feel right"
"It's okay Nathaniel There's nothing wrong with the medication and nothing is missing from your brain You're just fine"
"If you say so Mum" l said, but i didn't sound convinced I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
"Trust me" Mara said, reaching out to take my hand "I wouldn't lie to you"
But my mind was still filled with doubts Could I really trust her?
"But, Mum Why was I at the hospital that night? Why did I end up there? I just want to know what really happened"
Mara's face clouded over, and she looked away. "I... I don't know what to tell you I wish I could give you the answers you're looking for but I just don't have them"
I felt a wave of frustration wash over me. Why couldn't she just tell me the truth? What was she hiding from me?

"Why have you been sulking all morning?" Scarlett asked
"Nothing" Isabel said
"Don't give me that, You're obviously upset about something Tell me what it is."
Isabel sighed"It's silly," she said, her cheeks flushing. "But... my crush doesn't even acknowledge me at school anymore"
"You're only 13 years old Isabel,And you're sulking like a baby because of a crush? mom would be so disappointed if she heard that"
"You're not going to tell her are you?" Isabel asked
"There's no need to tell her" Katerina said as she walked into the room
"Mom!" Isabel said
"Is it because of a boy that you haven't been eating right?" she asked
"Mom!" Isabel protested
"Don't 'Mom' me," her mother said, crossing her arms. "Go back to your room and study You have an exam coming up."
Isabel sighed, knowing there was no point in arguing She turned and headed back to her room closing the door behind her
"As for you" Katerina said turning her attention to Scarlett, who was trying to look innocent
"Did Sienna call you today?" Katerina asked
"No she didn't Is everything okay with her?"
"I'm not sure" Katerina said

As I severed Nathaniel I couldn't help but smile at him As I turned to leave
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my arm I turned, and there he was looking at me with a quizzical expression.
"Have we met before?" he asked
"Yes we met that night..." I began, but my voice was cut off by Willow's sharp tone
"Shut up, and get out of here!" Willow hissed
I didn't need to be told twice As I rushed out of the room my heart pounding in my chest

AsI thought back to that night I couldn't shake the feeling that i had met Sienna before
