Upon the servants' introduction, Abelia felt somewhat nervous considering that she never had any servants who served her in the De'Chaulet Household. A natural response for most people and Leo anticipated this before taking a step forward to the butler, "Where is my father?"

"The Patriarch is currently out attending a meeting with the other heads of noble families," The Butler reported, "He should arrive somewhat late in the evening,"

"If that is the case, I would like the maids to escort Lady Abelia to her quarters and have her accustomed to some fresh clothes as well as a warm bath," Leo ordered, "Our Journey here was long, and I'd like to make her as comfortable as she can when living within the premises of Crawford's residence,"

The Butler and the maids bowed their heads to his command, and then Leo lightly pushed her forward, "Go, you'll do just fine,"

Abelia looked timid, especially when it came to house servants. Eventually, she went with them while Leo tended to other matters elsewhere.

Once they were in the bathroom, the maids kindly requested that Abelia take off her clothes for a warm bath in the tub. She was hesitant, but some reassurance from the maids made her do it.

With her dress off of her body, the maids seemed bewildered by how thin she looked as well as the few faint scars on her arms, back, and thighs. However, they'd shrugged this out of their minds and focused on the task at hand.

Every time Abelia tried to dip her feet into the warm water, she pulled it back as she never bathed in warm water before. She felt her skin could burn right off, but she would take her time and the maids waited patiently as Abelia slowly went down the tub.

She seemingly hissed as the warmth of the water surged across her skin. After she submerged her body in the water, the maids began by scrubbing and washing one part of her body, not minding the scars on her arms, thighs, soles, and back.

They had assumed that the Lady had suffered from where she was from, and they did not like whatever happened there before the Young Master took Abelia to be his lawfully wedded wife.

Their minds seemed occupied by the thought of Leo Crawford finally marrying a young woman after so long since the Young Master has a knack for throwing and burning proposal letters from Nobles who wished to be part of the Crawford Family for their wealth and influence.

Even proposal letters that were sent directly to his sister, who's of marrying age, were burnt by him as Leo didn't want anyone else in the family.

It made the servants worried even after their masters assured them that this matter was trivial, they worried about the young master's future. With Abelia in the mix, all they could do was hope that this relationship would continue for many months, if not years, to come.

Speaking of Abelia, the way the warm water feels and the maids gently scrubbing her body. She finds herself feeling rather sleepy and the maids quickly catch on to this.

After a quick wash, they'd immediately pull her out before she succumbed to her drowsiness.

With a towel wrapped around her body and her hair dried, the maids asked a particular question, "This may be imprudent of me to ask, but what kind of dress would you settle for? The Crawford House has a variety of dresses, and we may not know which will fit your preference,"

Abelia slightly opened her mouth and the maids looked at her with confusion. She was rather timid towards these three, then decided to gesture two of her fingers towards her throat and one finger towards her lips.

It took seconds for the maids to process this information, then they understood as Abelia slightly nudged her head forward, "Oh, I see... You can't say a word, can you, My Lady?"
