~Previously~
Katsul on the other hand, well...she was observing Ava by using her other senses like her hearing and stuff. "A new world record: Ava's Straight-Up Panic Attack in 10s"

"Agreed", both Adell and I nodded.

Adell's POV
"H-Hey, guys! Could you watch over Jhonny for me!? I-I don't wanna be late for my interview!", we heard Ava exclaim as she was still panicked.

All I could do was look at her seriously, crossing her arms. "If any of us will be staying here, it's not me.", I said as I glanced back at Lilywood and Katsul. "Sorry, guys."

My shift on the job is gonna start at 8am anyway, I gotta get going. "I can look after Jhonny.", Katsul spoke up, which seemed to have somehow left Ava surprised.

I suppose Ava still believes Katsul can't take care of herself due to her blindness...despite her other senses. I mean, Lilywood and I know Katsul's capable of looking after herself, and yet Ava doesn't after all these years.

Katsul's POV

"Wha-...hold on, Katsul, seriously!?" I overheard Ava exclaim. Great, here we go again...

"Ava, I've been blind for almost my whole life. I can take care of myself." I said sternly with my arms crossed. I could hear Ava muttering something to who I suppose it's Adell and Lilywood.

3...2...1... "Ava, I can't stay. I have a job running at 8am, and I've got to go early." I overheard Adell somewhat decline Ava's possible request of staying in the apartment instead of me.

"B-but-! B-But-!" I continued to hear Ava stuttering, not looking for the right words to use. I sighed with irritation, "Ava, my shift will start in the evening, I have all the time I need."

She's not gonna let me go on my own, whether I make a good reason with her or not. I thought in irritation, all I did was continue hearing Ava's words stutter while trying to reason with Adell and Lilywood.

I hated it...Adell and Lilywood were the only ones that supported me and my blindness, and yet after all the years and months of being with Ava, she never supported as much as they did...

"If you don't want Katsul to be alone then I can stay with her." Lilywood suddenly quipped, "My job's shift starts at noon, I have enough time to look after her for a moment."

I smiled softly, if I had my sight back again for even just a few moments or seconds, I would've gave Lily a small hug as a way to show my gratitude. I could hear Ava sigh in defeat as she muttered, "Fine."

Eventually, I could hear the entry door open and close, signaling that Ava had already left to her job interview. "I gotta get going as well. See you later." Adell said, I felt her footsteps sound faint as she as well had left the apartment.

Lilywood's POV

After Adell and Ava left, it was just me, Katsul, and Jhonny the cat.

"Hold on, isn't it trash day?" Katsul suddenly asked, I checked the calendar and...yep, it's trash day...

"It is." I nodded as Katsul just stayed silent for a moment. I looked over to Jhonny's bowl and...wait- is that a slice of pizza!?

Seriously, Ava? A slice of pizza!? I sighed in irritation. Silence filled the air in the apartment before Katsul broke it, "Well this is awkward"

"Agreed."
