Previously (3rd Person's POV)
Her body collided onto the floor, everything in her sights went black. The scene left everyone else in panic, especially Katsul. All Lilywood could hear was the faint exclamations and yelling.
"Lily!!"
"Amiga!? Amiga, wake up!!"
"AH! WE KILLED HER!! SHE'S DEAD!!"
"What happened to the female human!?"
3rd Person's POV
It's been a few hours after the sudden 'incident' when Lilywood went unconscious. 3 hours passed, to be exact. Her waist was already patched up, her body still showed signs of life. However, the poor girl hasn't woken up yet.
No one dared to speak after what happened. Katsul sat on one of the couches, her foot lightly tapping the floor anxiously. She didn't know Lilywood had an injury on her back. Then again, Lilywood sounded as if she hadn't realized it as well.
Ava paced back and forth in the room with a hint of worry. There were a lot of questions filling in her head. Why did she leave Katsul and Lilywood all alone? Why didn't she take out the trash instead? None of this wouldn't have happened if she'd stay in the apartment instead, right?
"This is getting too intense." Ava said. She finally broke the silence and grabbed her phone. "I need to call Adell."
Katsul's POV
I quickly stood up and walked to where Ava was, grabbing her wrist quickly.
"No." I said firmly, keeping my voice as quiet as possible for only Ava to hear. "We can't call Adell. Not yet at least"
"Not yet!?" Ava whisper-yelled at me. I can clearly see how frustrated she is. "When is 'Not yet' gonna turn into 'Right now'!?"
"You can see those dudes in the living room with us, right?" I said quietly.
"Yeah, and they're the reason why we should call Adell!" Ava complained.
"Wrong." I said sternly. My hand searched for hers before I took away her phone. "They'll be onto us if we do that. Besides, even if Adell does come here in time, she won't fight against them nor have time to call back up. She knows stuff like this better than anyone else does."
"Well what are we supposed to do!?" Ava exclaimed. I could already tell she was giving me a glaring look after feeling her pulse increase. "Give 'em all our money or something!?"
"Let's just play along on this until Lilywood wakes up." I explained. "We need to get on their good side, otherwise we'll end up with an injury similar to Lily's."
"And when Adell comes back?" Ava asked.
"We'll figure out about Adell later. Right now, we need to focus on how we should handle these guys and make sure Lily's alright." I replied quickly before Ava could be in denial once more.
