Complicated " Jinshi x reader"

Chapter 1

You woke up in bed, confused. You look around to see your surroundings, not being used to the environment you started to get scared. But you were realizing that there was no rope tied around your hands or feet. You stand up, looking for a way out, opening the door, no one in sight. You took this opportunity to run. But before you could run further, a mid-age man stop you " Where do you think you're going, young lady ? " Before you could respond or move, he grab you and drag you to a big palace. " Where are you taking me ?!". Since you were screaming, some eyes turned to see the drama, but quickly turned away when they saw that its was just a girl. 

" You will serve Lady Lihua, she is one of the concubines of the emperor. You will do what she orders you to do. Understood ?"

Hearing the silence, the man turned slightly his head giving you a intimidating glare " Understood?" 

" Yes, sir"

He nooded in approvement and continue to drag you to the certain palace named " Crystal Palace". You could read, of course, your mother wanted you to be a excellent wife for your husband. Your mother? She must be so worried, is she searching for you ? You hope so. A frown cover your face at the thought.

Arrived at the palace, you were given a uniform. You got dressed quikcly, and the presentation was now. But before, you quickly learned the manners to be alady in waiting for a concubine.

" This is Lady Lihua, you will be her lady in waiting for now on."

" Hello, madam. It's a pleasure to meet you." You bowed respectfully. " Hello, dear. You are very pretty, I hope your stay here will be good. Girls, please be nice to her and show her everything."

" Of course, Lady Lihua"  You smiled at her, ' She's nice' However you could feel glares behind your back. You look behind to see all the others lady in waiting of Lady Lihua.

" You can be dismissed" You bowed again before leaving. The other girls followed you, ready to harass you. " Who are you to be the lady in waiting of Our Lady?" 

" You think you are fit for the job ?" 

" You won't stay a week"

 " You're just a some girl they took in "

You didn't care about their comments, similar to the comments of your mother toward your behaviour/ attitude. You were used to insults. So, you ignored them and ask someone else to help you learn more about Lady Lihua. ' They're just so pathetic' . But if they say about your personnality something like that, it will hut badly because of your experience with your mother, she used to, say that you were too naive/dumb and too soft around people. She didn't like that type of personnality for your future husband, she wanted some strong and heartless woman. You wanted to ask for paint but you wanted to wait a bit to not being seen as selfidh girl. So in the meantime, you learn a lot about plants and flowers. After 2 months here, you were still victim of the harrasment of the others girls ( you don't give a damn), you were proud of yourself because the aknowledge of medicine in plants/ flowers were amazing. But also, outside the Crystal Palace, you learn about the other concubines, serving ladies.

You were inside of Lihua's room, holding her new-born baby, The Prince. " Congratulation, Lady Lihua it's a healthy baby." You were smiling from ear to ear. Holding the baby, make you feel excitement, butterflies on your stomach ' I hope one day I will have my own little family' . When you were sure Lady Lihua was in shape to hold her baby, you lay the prince on her mother.

" Lady Lihua, I will go get some products to help you and the baby" 

" Thank you, dear" She smiled sweetly at you. You bowed before leaving, the others ladies glared down on you as if you were an insect. " Where she thinks she's going ? Did she asks permission, this little slut ?"

You were walking a bit in daydream not noticing the girl, serving lady then bump into each other " I'm so sorry ! Are you okay ?" you held out your hand for her to get up, " What's your name ?" 

" My name is Mao mao and you ?"

" My name is Y/n L/n. Nice to meet you." You smiled kindly 'she seems nice' 

" Then Mao mao, it was a pleasure meeting you but I have to go ."
