{ Paying the Price }

Jimin was still in Jungkook's lap while all of them were shocked. The moment they'll saw the pill out from Jimin's mouth they were shocked and overwhelmed to say would be an understatement. Suddenly Jimin began to yelp in pain he started feeling as if his skin on his left hand was crawling and there it is..... everyone saw it. The freshly displayed ink of JJK initials on Jimin's wrist. Meanwhile he was still feeling the burning pain on that area. They were once again over his skin and this time every single of them saw it and Jungkook needed a moment to process all this.

What was happening everything made sense now, it was clear and yes they've made a grave sin so far. The real mate of the Vampire king had been suffering so much all this while. The Queen of this entire dark world this Vampire realm had been terribly disrespected by everyone. All those previous memories starts to haunt down Jungkook the way he had treated his real mate like utter shit it was literally horrifying. They all  were completely aware of the fact how badly this person had been tortured by their king, it was indeed very unfortunate.

It didn't take Jungkook to realise that it was Ko Moon yeong's doing, hiding his real destined mate with that magical pill. But now Jungkook was also shocked at the very moment, he didn't knew what to do anymore. He never imagined that a human could have been his real mate it was unexpected. The very moment Jungkook could feel his mate bond with Jimin. Jungkook could clearly sense Jimin's pain with their bond. But what thing shocked him is that Jungkook sensed a life inside Jimin's body. It was his baby growing inside Jimin ! And it was dead due to the strong force when Jimin was attacked it affected the baby. Jungkook couldn't sense the heartbeat of thrbchild through their bond, they lost their baby even before the little creature came out into this world, tears started brimming out from his eyes for the first time in his entire thousand years of life.

"Jimin you.... you're.. I-  we lost our baby" Jungkook choked out the sentence with so much of pain graced in his voice, his breath hitched in his chest. Hearing this Jimin's eyes widened in shock. "What b- baby but ho-how  ?" He was pregnant but how & when did this happen, he didn't even realised that he was pregnant with his lover's child.

"We couldn't save our baby.... it was all damn my fucking fault. I never let you even speak.... I know you must be hating me right now Jimin" Jungkook said with a expressionless face, with silent tears cascading down his face. As Jimin was too worn out to even proceed anything at this moment and he went unconscious right there.

"Aggghhrrrrhhhhh I hate myself !!!" Jungkook's bone chilling scary voice roared throughout the entire Vampire realm, his irises burning red so much with his anger that the ground started cracking and the shades lightning strikes upon the sky, that's how powerful Jungkook is... but what's the use of that power when he couldn't save his own baby ? Jungkook thinks it was all his damn fault for his mate's miscarriage, he now realizes the unreasonable hate he had recently developed for Jimin out of nowhere it was all because of that fucking pill, it does make sense but things can't be changed back now, could they ?  No it can't change the fact how terribly Jungkook had treated Jimin. Oh how much he had tortured his destined lover and Jimin continued loving Jungkook unconditionally without any intentions behind.

Jimin didn't knew about this mate thing, he was attracted to Jungkook as how a normal human would fall in love. Jimin didn't needed any influence of mate bind to fall in love with Jungkook. The boy truly loved Jungkook with his everything and never asked for anything in return, even when Jungkook was clearly despising his presence. Jungkook realised that Jimin's love was too pure for a monster like him. Look where it took him a once normal happy and a chripy human is now the pure definition of pain and a hurting soul.

Jungkook was still processing all the past events occoured. But one thing which confused him a lot is.... if all the Vampires of this realm were under the spell then how come Namjoon and Yoongi were in their senses ?

Sensing their King's confusion Namjoon and Yoogi approached Jungkook. "We know that what must've been your doubts but we're thankful that such a amazing creature like Park Jimin is your mate, your highness" Namjoon said with a proud smile glistening across his face radiating his dimples on glory and yoongi nodded his head agreeing with Namjoon while Jungkook raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"Jimin had been trying to tell you about that witch but you never trusted him. Infact none of us could believe his words even when he tried telling Jin hyung about this he too ignored his efforts if alerting all of us. But what makes us admire your mate highness..... is that he doesn't know how to give up at all" Yoongi said and everyone's ears inside the throne hall perked up on these words.

"He lastly approached both of us I mean me and Yoongi hyung right one hour before your wedding ceremony. We too never trusted him... ignored his words until he forced us to look at the evidence he had against Ko Moon yeong. He told us everything (Please refer previous chapters for flashback, It's too long to explain again) He's just a human but he never let himself down infront of us" Namjoon said all the things how Jimin heard their conversation on first day where he saw Ko Moon yeong with Sehun and till now. Jungkook was completely shocked and rest of them gasped on their breath that she was actually a witch hybrid.

"Jimin made this plan and we didn't had any other better option so we just  followed what he said and at last his plan did work. He told us to wait in human realm for the perfect timing that's how both of us were not affected from the spell. But what shocked us the most is... being a human he managed to withstand against all those werewolves, it is really unbelievable but he's truly an amazing fighter" Yoongi said proudly and it was indeed true almost everyone saw how crazily Jimin was fighting with those wolves to save Jungkook.

"He saved you our king, all of us every single Vampire of this realm owe him for saving our ruler. Your mate is born with majestic aura around him he doesn't need any title. He's the Golden creation of heaveans, one in a billions" Namjoon said and at this sentence Jungkook's eyes literally watered up lightly, his hands clenching tightly with regrets.

"Greeting his Majesty, Jiminssi is fine now I've made sure that all his wounds are cured. But still his human body is deeply injured he needs rest and the loss of the.... I... mean the loss of the baby made it more worsen but nothing to worry, he should be fine very soon" Jin interrupted them for giving an update about Jimim's health. Jungkook acknowledged him by nodding his head.

"I dare not to question you his Majesty... but when are you going to declare your mate as your Queen ? His coronation should be placed next week since it's the very fortunate timing according to stars" Hoseok asked slightly hesitant in his tone, cuz it might trigger Jungkool's anger but he just asked it right away.

"I can't take this decision alone. I need to ask if he's willing to forgive me, if he's willing to stay here in our world. After all the damage I've done to his life... the least I could do is to let him go, if he wants to... It's my fucking fault that I've lost my child, my people have lost their heir. So I don't have any rights to say about this and most importantly I've hurt my mate, I don't deserve him" Jungkook said with so much of pain and hurt evident in his eyes. It was the first time all the Vampires were seeing their king crying in these thousands of years. Jungkook was always a stone cold hearted scary person but this time he was truly affected. Jungkook walked away silently from the throne hall to his chamber where still unconscious Jimin was lying on his bed. The outcome of his unreasonable hate and mistakes, now Jungkook was paying the price of it by losing his child and may be even Jimin's trust on love ?
