You Make Him Sad 😢

Working an 18 hour non-stop shift at work is no easy task, and Y/N would consider this a fact. Coming home from labour so gruelling should be something to look forward to, unless you're coming home to the one and only Michael Jackson. High-maintenance, clingy and emotional are three words that Y/N would say describe him well enough. She doesn't think she'll be able to tolerate his behaviour tonight.

She takes her shoes off at the front door after she angrily enters through Neverland Ranch's enchanting doorway, her frustration evident in her aura. Michael obviously did not notice, for as soon as he heard her footsteps down the hall he was on her like a bloodsucking leech.

"Y/N, I'm so glad you're home! I was getting so lonely without you!" He exclaims cheerfully as he envelops her in his bone-crushing embrace. She only hums in response, hoping to portray her annoyance towards being touched right in this moment.

He still doesn't take the hint and lays a fat, loving kiss on her cheek. This was the last straw for Y/N, as her anger reached boiling point and she couldn't take it anymore.

"Michael!" She shouts, voice laced in poison. The sudden loudness startles him and he hurriedly pulls away from the hug. He looks at Y/N with wide eyes, shock evidently written on his pale white face. "I don't want you touching me all the time! You act like a damn dog every time you see me!"

Michael looks ashamedly down at the wooden floor, tears brimming his doe eyes and threatening to spill. Y/N's sudden outburst caused his happy mood to quickly diminish. How could he be so ignorant as to how she was feeling? And how could his good day suddenly turn sour? He didn't mean to make her angry, he just wanted to love her.

"Y/N I-I didn't mean to-" He starts to apologise timidly before being rudely cut off by his significant other.

"Don't even start Michael! I'm sick and tired of coming home to rest and relax, only to be smothered by you and your clingyness!" Her anger makes her react blindly as she says hurtful words that she'll regret once she's calmed down. "I can't handle you anymore... You act like a child! I don't want to be with a child!"

Anyone present in the house could've heard the exact moment Michael's heart broke. As Y/N's words of irritation spilled from her lips, it became more apparent to Michael that maybe he should just leave her alone for now. He knew the anger radiating from her was just that; anger. At least he hoped so.

He took a deep breath in and wiped the tears from his eyes. "I-if you want me to leave... Then I'll go." He says sadly, his voice wavering in his moment of vulnerability. He takes slow steps towards the doorway that leads outside into the cold, cold night. He was going to have to stay in one of the guest houses tonight; alone, cold and sad. He stops at the doorway, hand resting on the handle as he waits hopefully for any words of protest from his dear lover. But none were said, so he bid her goodnight and left the main house and into the darkness of his own backyard. "I love you Y/N..." He whispers, although his words fell on deaf ears.

Y/N let out a breath she didn't know she was holding, as if a large weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Finally she could rest without any unwanted hassles from Michael and his childish ways. She considered him to be almost like a lost puppy; always following her around the ranch and longing for her affections. Y/N didn't like this, as she just wanted her own space sometimes. Take tonight for example. She made Michael cry because she didn't want a hug from him. God he is sensitive.

Thinking back on what just went down, she started to feel a slight bit guilty for the way she had treated him before. All he wanted was her love, something so rare to have when living a life like his. And now he was all alone in one of the guest houses, left to wallow in his loneliness.

She felt bad now. Maybe she should go check on him. Maybe she should go apologise. Maybe she should tell him the the way she had acted and the words she had said we're all a big mistake. She should have just kept it all in and let him lover her; she should have loved him. She sighed, knowing what she needed to do.

After throwing on her coat and putting her shoes back on, she ventured back out into the darkness in search of Michael. Luckily for her, the pathways were illuminated by lines of bright yellow lights. Neverland Ranch was such a magical place come night time, even more so than during the day.

Eventually, she made it to the first guest house. She knocked with no reply. Moving onto the next house after another brisk walk, she knocked again. No reply. She sighed as she made her way to the third and final guest house, guilt slowly eating away at her conscience as she made her way to the front door.Knocking one last time on the rustic wooden door, she was finally met with a reply.

The door opened a sliver as Michael peeked out from behind. It was dark inside the house from what Y/N could see, which caused a worried look to cross her face.

"Michael..." She started softly, the sound of regret now evident in her once harsh voice. Michael slightly opened the door further, showing Y/N the full state he was in.

Clothes dishevelled, hair a mess, and tear stains streaking down his face. He sniffles and looks to the ground in embarrassment, thinking she was going to go off at him again. But instead, and to his surprise, he was met with a bone-crushing bear hug; this one coming from Y/N herself. Although taken aback by her sudden change in mood, he returned her hug.

"Michael I-... I'm so sorry for what I said. I didn't mean any of it, I was just blinded by my anger," She starts her long awaited apology to her lover, words of sincerity finally putting him at ease. "I just had a bad day at work, I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I just... I'm so sorry."

Michael pulls away from the hug, a kind and understanding smile present on his handsome face.
"It's alright Y/N, I forgive you. I guess sometimes I can come off a bit touchy." He laughs. "I should be the one apologising, not you."

Y/N quickly shakes her head in disagreement. "No Michael, you did nothing wrong. I shouldn't have lost my temper on you," She says. "And I also shouldn't have said such hurtful words to you. You're lovely Michael, I love you just the way you are."

He blushes at her words and smiles shyly.
"Thank you kindly. But I love you more, how about that."

"No, I love you more." Y/N replies.

"I can beat that. I love you most."

"What! No I-" Y/N was cut off by Michael's childish antics.

"Got you." He laughs sweetly and pulls Y/N into another hug, the two of them feeling heaven-like bliss. Finally the angst was over. Y/N had apologised, and Michael had forgiven her. About time, I was getting sick of this story.

After their passionate embrace ended, they walked hand in hand back to the main house of Neverland Ranch to go to sleep for a much needed sleep.

Luckily Michael is so forgiving, or Y/N would've been sleeping in the streets. How would you like that?
