I've been waiting my whole life, For the love that cuts like a knife. In my heart, a one-sided flame, Longing for you, but it's not the same.
Days turn into years, and still I wait, Hoping that one day, you'll appreciate. But my love goes unnoticed, unreturned, Yet in my heart, it forever burns.
I yearn for the touch of your hand, To be the one who truly understands. But I'll keep waiting, with hope in my soul, For a love that makes me feel whole.
Though the wait can be tough and long, I'll hold onto the hope that keeps me strong. For in this one-sided love, I find, A love that's selfless and endlessly kind.
So I'll keep waiting, with love in my heart, Hoping one day, our paths will never part. Until then, I'll cherish the love I give, And in my dreams, our love will live.
