Interviewer : Hi IHeartRadio fans, I'm your host Michelle Collins and I'm here with Isadora Langford for "Behind the Album."

Isadora : Hi!

Michelle : So let's start with your most recent tour. It was your first album, what was the experience like?

Isadora : It's so surreal. I mean like I'd seen shows of other people on tour and it's just something I've dreamed of when first started writing music

Michelle: How long have you been writing music?

Isadora: I've been writing since I was like...13? 14? I know it was significantly earlier than when I first released music

Michelle : Did you expect any of this when you first released your first single?

Isadora : I mean obviously I think all my songs are good, so I knew they would do well, but I never imagined any of this.

Michelle : I wanna know more about you, who is Isadora Langford

Isadora : That's such a hard question. I mean I try not to just list off my achievements and things like that, but I say I'm just an average girl with crazy amazing opportunities. I'm 20, and I love pickles *Isadora laughs* and I have the sweetest dog ever named Buddy.

Michelle : Where did you grow up?

Isadora : I actually say that I grew up in 2 places. So I was born in Pennsylvania and lived there until I was 6, then moved to France and lived there for a year, then to East Dennis and finished middle and high school there. I think I did a lot more growing up in Massachusetts than I did in Pennsylvania.

Michelle : Did you like high school?

Isadora : God no. And it was even worse, because I was so good in high school. I mean like I did all the clubs, all the honors and AP classes because I was so worried about college and here I am, releasing my 2nd album!

Michelle : Is there a storyline to this new album?

Isadora : No actually, when I first even had a thought about another album, and I had this feeling that I couldn't write any more. So I asked Taylor [Swift] if she had any ideas or advice and she said "Release your scrapped songs. They tend to be the best." So I looked over them and realized how much I actually loved them. *Isadora laughs* So I re-recorded them and was like "I'm calling it Scrapped!" and they are all totally different from each other and I love the mix and match.

Michelle : Which song are you most excited for?

Isadora : Definitely my song in French. Everyone forgets my mom speaks French as a second language and I learned it in highschool.

Michelle : Is there something you want people to take from this album?

Isadora : Not necessarily, I mean each song has a meaning and message, and I hope they pick up on that. But I want them to realize, all I ever do is write, and it's all I wanna do.

Michelle : You said earlier there's no story line for this album, and that it was just scrapped songs from your other releases. Is there any common theme about these songs?

Isadora : Well all of these songs were written between my Junior year of high school and the year after I graduated, so almost all of these have something to do with how I was feeling or what I was dealing with in high school.

Michelle : Is there anything you'd like to tell the people who will be listening to this album or this interview?

Isadora : Um, keep an open mind, I had no intention of releasing these songs about a year ago, and now I am!

Michelle : Thank you so much! This is Isadora Langord and Michelle Collins on Behind the Album.

Isadora : Bye! *Isadora blows kisses to the camera*
