Hiroshi opened the door to his room and stepped in. He shut it behind him, breathing heavily. He stood with his back to the door for a moment, placing his right hand on the side of his face where Akuma had hit him. He held back tears, not wanting to cry, as he was always told not to cry.

'Be strong Hiroshi. You don't cry,' Hiroshi kept saying in his head over and over again.

He placed his hand over his mouth, for if he did start crying, no one would hear.

Hiroshi calmed himself down and walked over to the large fireplace that lay near the door. He put the palm of his hand in front of the logs sitting in it. He focused on his breathing for a moment and fire lit from his hand, setting the logs on fire. Winter was vastly approaching and it was getting colder and colder by the day. And because the dragons lived in the foothills of Mount Fuji, it was even colder for them.

Hiroshi grabbed a small, red, blanket off the end of his bed and wrapped it around himself. He sat quite close to the fire, as it had already begun to snow. And for being a fire dragon, he was quite sensitive to the cold. Azuki on the other hand, loved the snow. He was an ice dragon, so it seemed that he would be that way.

Hiroshi had been sitting by the fire, in silence, for a few minutes, until Angel walked into the room. There was a long cut up her sleeve, and beneath it, a serious cut in her arm.

"Mother!" Hiroshi exclaimed at the sight of his mothers arm.

He jumped up, throwing the blanket off of himself and wrapping it around Angel's arm.

"Why must he do this to you?" Hiroshi said under his breath, tightening the blanket around Angel's arm more.

"Calm down Hiroshi, it's only a cut" Angel says.

"Just a cut?!" Hiroshi exclaims, "Mother, you could get so many infections from this. And that wont help the health issues you already have!" Hiroshi exclaims again.

Hiroshi found a needle and thread in his closet. He immedatley started stitching up Angels arm after the bleeding stopped.

"Don't tell Akuma I did this for you okay?" Hiroshi says, looking at his mother.

Angel nods and exits Hiroshis room. Hiroshi went to what he was doing before, with the blanket around his shoulders, he sat back down next to the fire place. The snow immedatley picked. Hiroshi jumped at the sudden gusts of wind. For what he knew, this was going to be one, long, night.
