Teddys pov

I really want to go swimming today it is too hot.

For some reason y/n keeps turning down the idea of it. So today I will try my hardest to force her in to it.

We all meet at the treehouse at 9:00. It is now halfterm but we have nothing to do.

"Hey" Chris yells snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh hi, do you think we will be the first ones there?" I ask.

"No I saw y/n and Gordie going up there earlier."
Chris says looking into the distance.
"Okay, Vern is obviously going to be late again!" I say laughing.
"Yes but so are we if we don't go now!" He suddenly yells.

Timeskip.

We are all arguing on what to do. We'll it isn't really an argument.
"We should go to the shops and get ice-cream!" Y/n argues.
"What no we should have lunch in the field" vern complains.

I finally decide to speak up "girls, girls cool it! Why don't we just go down to the river?"

Vern yells excitedly and Chris nodds his head. We look over to Gordie and y/n just in time to see them glance at each other. I look up to Chris confused.

"Yup that seems like an AbSOlUtLy GrEaT idea." Y/n replies, she sounds almost sarcastic, which is strange? Gordie nods his head.

"We will all meet in 5 minutes!" I yell exiting the treehouse

Gordies pov

(He is your neighbour, and you guys talk a lot)

"I am worried for y/n- what if one of the others say something? Can she even swim? A thousand thoughts swarm around my head.

Me and y/n are silent the whole wayback. I look at her to try to read her face. She looks drowned in a sea of worry.

I grab her shoulder and spin her so she is facing me.

"Listen it will be fine you are perfect the way you are! If they go to say something I will dunk them before they can" I say trying to reassure her. She looks unsure but nods non the less.

Your pov.

I enter my house and straight to y/s/n room. I rummage through their cupboard until I find a large t-shirt that goes down to my knees. I climb to the top of my wardrobe and grab a pair of shorts from my room and carefully climb down.

Timeskip

We arrive at the river and the boys are wearing t-shirts and their swimming shorts.

"Oh your not wearing a swimming costume?" Teddy asked me confused.

How stupid is hre?

"No I am wearing a bin bag- what the fuck does it look like I am wearing?" I respond
"Jeez it was just a question!" He says
"A dumb question!" I retort.
Chris just snickered in amusement.

I run into  the water taking my shoes and socks off as I run. Which ends up in me nearly tripping.

I swim into the center of the river and look down at the water, it is so amazing.

" have you boys ever jumped of that ledge?"I yell over to them.
"No for some odd reason we haven't!" Teddy says looking up.

I swim under the water to just below the ledge. It seems deep enough.

I look up to the boys grinning.

"Wait here I'll go first!" I yell to them. I make my way out of the water and climb onto the ledge.

"Be careful" Chris yells up.

"No I'm going to do a backflip off here!" I yell sarcasticly.

I take a running jump and splash into the water. I wait a few seconds before swimming behind Chris.

Chris pov

She jumps and splashes loudly. We wait a few seconds but she still hasn't risen from the water. I start to panic.

Your pov

I jump out of the water and drag him under. He opens his eyes and looks at me. I look back at him and try to grin. I inhale some water as I try which makes me laugh. I mean what did I think was going to happen?

Now I am chocking and laughing half under water. That is untill  Chris grabs me by my waist and pulls me up.

"Are you okay?"
I carry on spluttering, but the whole time I am still laughing.
"I--I--* cough* I inhaled--- huhhhhhh the waterrrrrr!" I laugh out

"Shut up you dumb fuck! Try to breathe!" Chris says smiling but still worried.

"Well I would be dead if I didnt breathe! I can barely hold my breath, see" I laugh and choke harder.
"No don't show us now you idiot!" Gordie says exasperated.

I finally stop chocking  and spluttering. I go over to the boys and we decide to have a water battle.

Vern is the ref because he said he didn't want to be the one to be injured, I go with Chris while Gordie and Teddy go together. I go onto Chris's sholders and Gordie goes up onto Teddy shoulders.

I say "this is the frst time and last time you'll ever have your head between a girls legs Chris Chambers!"

The others laugh and Vern prepares us. "Y/n and Gordie I want a clean fight!" He says

"Surrrreeee"
"Totally"

"3..2..1..GOOO!" Vern yelled

Chris pov

We spent hours in the water, we laughed and had tons of fun. We had battles, splash fights and we spent ages jumping off the ledge.

Y/n looked so pretty when we where swimming today. I wish we brought a camera, i thought I saw y/n with one when she went up to sun bathe, and one when Gordie went up to read.
I may have be mistaken.

We are now packing up and drying ourself's.

"Oi Chris look at what y/n is doing!" Vern suddenly yelled.

I turn around to see y/n grinning at me with a camera in her hands!

So I was correct after all!

"Heyyy! Why did you just take a photo?" I smirk.
She laughs and replies "because I can and you look cu-- FUnNYyy when you are concentrating!"
"You called me cute!"
"What nooo I didn't!" She denied instantly.
"Y/N THINKS I CHRIS CHAMBERS IS HOT!!!!" I yell.
"No I called you cute not h-" she hollers at me.
"Hahahaha!" I laugh. "So you admit it!" I chase her around trying to tickle her.

Gordies pov

They are acting like an old married couple aren't they!" I say to Teddy. As we watch them run around.
"Yes they are!" Teddy says. "Hey watch this" he whispers to me.

I watch as he tiptoes over to them y/n back is to the water and Chris is facing her. Her eyes are fixated on Chris so she doesn't see Teddy.

I laugh quietly to myself, knowing what Teddy is about to do.

He lets out a big war cry and charges at  them like a mental warrior. Before they could react he shoves them into  the water. The water isn't to shallow so there is no chance of y/n drowning.

"What ThE hECk WaS tHaT FoR?" Y/n spluttered

I see her blush as she realises that Chris is hovering right above her.

" y/n could have hit her head on a rock it's so shallow!" Chris says before turning his head to look at suki, he then smirked at her causing her blush to spread.
  Helping her up he said " that's what you get if you take photos of me!"

Teddy joins me and Vern as we laugh at the two of them. Before they can get out of that position I take a few photos of them. Just to make fun of them later, oh.... and for memories, though mostly for making fun of them.
